Terrible experience with Render. I contacted their technical support for a specific request and, after six days, I still have not received any concrete response. The only reply I received came from an AI apologising that nobody had responded. Despite several follow-ups, both through their chat and by email, no real support was provided. This is a completely unacceptable level of customer service for a professional hosting provider. When you entrust your infrastructure to a provider, you expect responsive and concrete support, not a series of automated messages with no follow-up. I strongly advise against using Render if you need serious support. Choose hosting providers that are actually able to provide real human assistance and effective support. Do not waste your time with Render. A word to the wise.

On the first sight everything seems perfect, but they dont tell you, that you will be billed for your services bandwidth so you get automatically billed 15$. They charge you money to remove your credit card. I dont recommend this site at all.

Scammers!! Be careful and stay away from this Trap, they charged me for nothing i did and i couldn’t even remove my card from there, your money will be wasted for nothing you have done!!

An absolute scam. Poor customer service. I will never ever use Render again.

render.com just change the plan tier from 100 to 5gb only and the price is too expensive

Paying customer here. I recently signed up for Render to support the deployment and testing of our security operations application. Unfortunately, my experience with the platform has been extremely disappointing. After purchasing the service, our team spent approximately three hours actively testing the application to verify functionality, deployment stability, authentication, and other operational features. During that same testing period, my account was suddenly suspended and flagged for alleged “phishing” activity. To be clear, the application is a legitimate security operations platform being developed for business use. We were simply conducting normal functionality testing of our own application and infrastructure. Having a paid account suspended within only a few hours of signing up—without what appeared to be any meaningful opportunity to explain the application or resolve the issue beforehand—was frustrating and disruptive. When businesses rely on a hosting provider for application deployment, reliability and responsive account support are extremely important. Automated abuse-prevention systems are understandable, but legitimate customers should have a reasonable process for verification and appeal before their operations are interrupted. Based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend Render for businesses deploying operationally important applications. If you are considering using Render for a production application, particularly one involving security operations, authentication systems, administrative portals, or other features that could potentially trigger automated security systems, I would strongly recommend evaluating alternative hosting providers before committing your infrastructure to the platform. We paid for a service expecting to test and develop our application—not to have the account suspended after roughly three hours of legitimate use. Unless the situation is resolved appropriately, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

JUST LOVE THERE SERVICES AND THE WAY THEY COMMUNICATE WELL WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS.
