Last year when I was starting my career as a Data Analyst in Competition Economics, I couldn’t imagine working remotely. I was a fresh graduate from the University in Madrid and getting a job in one of the BIG4 corporations was an enormous success for me. Of course, working for a consulting company would not give me the freedom of where and when I would like to work. Everything changed when I found out about Remote-how. I attended their conference and after a while purchased their Remote Career Advisory program. I learned a lot and got enough self-discipline to start learning to program, which allowed me to change my career path to a Data Scientist and find my dream remote work! I was so motivated, that I decided to quit my job and then amazing things started happening 😊 When I explained to my supervisor the reason - that I am looking for remote work and location independence, he wondered why I had never asked for such arrangements. Thanks to the Remote-how program I had learnt really great arguments for speaking about remote work with Human Resources. After two weeks with help from my manager, I got offered 2 months' full-time remote work in a big corporation! 😃 Now I’m working from my small hometown in Poland, preparing for a trip to Asia, learning to program and looking forward to what the future will bring in my career as a Remote Data Scientist!
