I have been a LO for over 15 Years. REMN has to be the worst lender out there. The whole process was horrible from the beginning to the end until when they finally came up with the truth and denied the loan. after months of dragging the borrower through the mud. deception would be their model.. stay away

REMN Wholesale is a complete rip-off provider. I got a line of credit for home improvements on a rental property at a ridiculous 11.05%. I wanted to draw down the money as I needed it but was told the initial draw had to be the entire loan amount. A month or so later, I received a letter explaining I needed hazard insurance, or they were going to charge me for a policy they provide. Even though my insurance compact contacted me, they still took out a policy for me at almost $1000/year. One year later, I got another letter stating that the policy the opened was about to lapse and that I needed to provide proof of insurance or AGAIN pay them to provide one - even though proof of insurance had been provided to them previously. On top of all of that, I requested a loan payoff quote, and the payoff amount is MORE than the original draw, even after one full year of making payment. Something about all of it seems predatory and, quite frankly, illegal. DO NOT use REMN Wholesale or Figure Lending EVER!!!

I would give REMN a -5 if I could. They provided my wife (Donna Yaciuk) an application which had 5 options for verifying income. But then stated that in addition to monthly checking account statements and Retirement Award Letters they wanted us to provided the User Name and Passwords to our Checking Accounts. Checking with our bank (a well known bank for ex and current military) the bank stated they absolutely would not give out user names and passwords and that it is very, very unusual for a reputable organization to do so. We see a TOTAL SCAM here.

their interest rate is high, borrows beware because you start out underwater. they take out orignation fees they don't tell you about, until you have to pay them back that information should be disclose.

Horrible company, I’d recommend anyone else but these clowns. Went back and forth with these clowns for the last 2 weeks about a home equity loan. Now we are less than 2 weeks to close on a house and the funds we needed should’ve been provided by these guys. I’m not sure how these clowns are still in business.

First of all, it helps to have the guidance of a great Account Executive and I feel that I have that in dealing with REMN. From the Help Desk to Closing, all parties are helpful and stay late to finish to job. I really count on REMN and could not imagine not having such a great lender!
