Gena L.
A thousand times NO.
Gotta start with the ol' "If I could give zero stars I would." I, a formerly very fit (low body fat, high muscle) individual, have been gaining fat in menopause despite ramping up my gym workouts/tracking macros & calories.I'm also struggling with sleep and hot flashes - the usual for someone who is 52. Every 6 months or so I have to buy bigger pants even though I am "doing everything right". I have done my research (especially on sleep) and when none of those methods made a big difference, I decided to find a Functional Medical Practitioner. Eventually I settled on Rejuvenating Health. They took my mid 4-figure sum of money and set me up with a health coach. She is cool but asks all the standard questions and suggests things I've already tried (because they are standard when one searches "how to improve sleep). She also tells me to meditate and 'not to get worked up'. Anyway, after doing a GI Map I learned I have antibiotic-resistant H Pylori, which can cause peptic ulcers and stomach cancer. It can also cause such gut dysbiosis that it causes a whole host of problems including low nutrient absorption, inability to process estrogen properly, disrupted thyroid, etc. No amount of supplements are going to help me with that - I needed a specific protocol so I asked if I could get a refund for the remaining meetings with my coach as I clearly will not be continuing with the program. They do not provide refunds though they did say if I got a doctor's note stating that their protocol won't work that they would give the refund. My pcp won't do it; they referred me to a Gastrointestinal doctor who might. So to recap, they took my money, but cannot heal my issues without engaging their gut protocol person, which will cost extra money. Note that though they knew about the h pylori, they didn't ask if I needed that protocol. After I begged for help when they wouldn't refund, they were like "Oh actually we do have an h. pylori protocol! It's extra." (Because of course it is.) Run fast, run far from this horrible company. Their salespeople are top notch but zero help. What the company as a whole are doing is unethical.
Response from Rejuvenating HealthOct 2, 2026
Gena, we’re sorry to hear that this is how you feel about your experience with Rejuvenating Health. We take concerns like these seriously, and after receiving your request, our team reviewed your history, the services provided, the testing and care options offered, and the concerns you raised with us. We want to respect your privacy, so we will not discuss the specifics of your health history or care publicly. However, there is some important context surrounding the concerns you’ve raised that we would like to clarify. Our records reflect that the health concern referenced in your review was based on testing completed outside of Rejuvenating Health prior to enrollment. During your time with us, additional testing through our program was offered but declined because outside testing had already been completed. When those outside results were later discussed with one of our providers, the provider explained the limitations of what she could appropriately interpret and recommended appropriate follow-up rather than attempting to evaluate something outside her scope. When you later expressed concern that our program could not support your needs, our team looked further into what options might be available. We consulted additional internal resources and made an exception to our normal process so that a specialist could become involved without the testing that would ordinarily precede that step. From there, an additional support pathway was developed based on the information available to our team. We also reviewed your request to discontinue the program and receive a refund individually. When you shared that an outside medical provider believed a different path might be more appropriate for your health, we offered to consider supporting documentation from that provider so that we could explore whether an exception to our standard refund policy was appropriate. This was offered in good faith because we take the recommendations of a client’s outside medical providers seriously and want to work collaboratively when there are concerns about whether continued participation is appropriate. Ultimately, after reviewing the services already provided, the terms of the agreement, and the additional support available to you, we were unable to approve the requested refund. We understand that you disagree with that decision and that your experience did not ultimately meet your expectations. Our team made every effort to review your concerns carefully, explore the options available to us, involve additional resources where appropriate, and identify a path forward within the scope of the services we could responsibly provide. We remain committed to working with you directly regarding the support and options available to you, and we genuinely wish you the very best moving forward.
