We are a legitimate business offering travel insurance policies that, like other travel insurance policies, only insures covered events specifically outlined in the policy. As with any insurance claim, in order to adjudicate a claim in accordance with the terms of the policy, whether to approve or deny, our examiners require complete documentation supporting such claim. An Attending Physician Statement is necessary in this instance to properly evaluate your claim. This form contains relevant information such as dates of treatment and physician recommendations that we need to adjudicate your claim. Please understand that the claim adjudication process typically takes an average of 30 days following receipt of all required documentation. We appreciate your patience as we obtain this. Unfortunately, if the vacation rental manager improperly canceled, that is not a covered reason under the policy. In addition, we have requested documentation in which you have not provided. Charles, Thank you for reaching out to us, and we are sorry for your loss. Travel insurance is a named peril insurance, meaning only covered events outlined in the policy are insured. In order to be eligible for coverage for trip cancellation, the trip must be cancelled for a covered reason outlined in the policy. Since the incident occurred following the termination of your policy, we were unable to honor your claim.
