I felt the questions on the form the doctor had to fill out in order to get my refund, was unnecessarily detailed and and invasion of privacy. It bordered on the Dr having to break HIPAA privacy laws with all the information that was asked for. Other than that, once it was filled out and sent in, the process went smoothly, and I got the refund of my IKON left ticket pass.

Lenore, Thank you for reaching out to us. As with any insurance claim, in order to adjudicate a claim in accordance with the terms of the policy, whether to approve or deny, our examiners require complete documentation supporting such claim. A complete Attending Physician Statement was necessary in this instance to properly evaluate your claim. All of the relevant information was needed to adjudicate your claim. Regards, The Red Sky Team

Red Sky came through with a full…
Red Sky came through with a full reimbursement for our canceled family celebration due to COVID. The reimbursement took about a month which was fine. But it would have been nice if we could have had some kind of personal contact. All contact was instructed to be online in a claim form. I reached out and spoke to different customer service reps, however, it would have been nice to have had a specific assigned rep to talk over our claim with and discuss the complications we were going through.

Need better communication
Bertram was super helpful (I had to call 3 times for help). However, once the claim was assigned to an adjuster, they never communicated with me. I left one VM and sent 2 emails - nothing. Then about 2 weeks later I got an email saying our claim had been paid and the next day it was deposited into our account. So the claims part was good but the communication was not. Was completely in the dark about the status of our claim until it was paid. Tried to check the status online and it always came back with “unable to find your claim”.
