I was going to order a plastic rifle case. Cost $100 and change. It showed $0 for shipping. Once in the check out area with all my info in I checked the final price. $110 had been added to the shipping line for UPS ground. I'm dam glad I did a final check before hitting the PLACE ORDER button.

This company is a joke. I just spent numerous hours in the last couple of days trying to receive a refund for an order I made last year. I ordered the 12 person Wow raft at the end of the season last year only to discover that this item had a large rip in the seam the first time we used it. I contacted the company who will not take responsibility and claims they don’t have my information on file. Save your money and don’t waste your time dealing with this company. Not worth it. They will not honor your order.

On a Monday I got an e-mail from them saying they had the item I wanted in stock. I paid for the item and was told to expect a tracking # when the item was shipped and that it should get to me that Thursday. Well, Thursday came and no tracking # and no item. On Monday I got on their chat line. The person I spoke with finally admitted that they did not have the item in stock. I cancelled the order and three days later the money was refunded to my pay pal account. The company basically lied when they said the item was in stock. I wasted a lot of time with this. I will avoid this company in the future. I should have read these reviews before I did business with them.

I ordered a hand gun holster from their website. When it arrived 8 days later it was the wrong item. I contacted their customer service they said they would send me another one but I had to pay for it too. Then when I received the item I could simply return the first one and they would refund me money. Well guess what, they sent me the exact the same thing again. Back to contacting customer service. They will send me a third one or refund my money. I asked they refund my money. Now they are to send me a post paid box for the return if both wrong items and upon verification the packaging is good they will process my refund. So I'm into this purchase 30 days already. Another 3-4 days to get a shipping box. Another 7-8 days for return and verify. And finally another 3-4 days before a credit will hit my bank account. This company has no customer service. Do no buy from them!!!!

One year ago, August 2, 2020, I ordered 2 Diawa reels. The first (cheapest-$24 with free shipping) came in a few days. I was then informed that the second, $28 plus $15 shipping, was back ordered and would be sent in early September. I decided to wait. In September I was notified that it would be three more weeks, so I decided to cancel my order and get a refund. So guess what? They sent a refund for the reel and KEPT THE $15 SHIPPING CHARGES! RECREATIONID ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS! I wasted many hours on e-mails and phone calls trying to get my shipping charges back. I even talked to one representative with a strong Indian accent that claimed she had the authority to refund my shipping, but nothing happened. Don't do business with these scammers. I won't ever again!

Bad shipping, 2+ months for delivery. Product did not match the description. Look elsewhere. Scam.

I put 2 sets of very nicely priced surfboard fin sets in my cart which purported to have UPS shipping. But once I entered my PayPal info I was shown a shipping price of $130 for 2 very small items. I found the same products on another website and purchased them with UPS shipping under $10. MORAL OF THE STORY: Prices may look good at first, but double check shipping once you get ready to click "buy!"

My phone service was excellent - but talk is talk. I would say to make sure you will never ever want to return an item. There is fine print under the "EASY RETURNS" policy that says, "you must pay the initial shipping(the cost of getting the product to you) and a return fee on top of that! AND the product must be unused and returned with ALL original packaging. I read some of the fine print after my initial order and then tried to cancel shipping but item had already shipped. So, I just had to "pay the piper" and return the item. I mean why take a chance on not being satisfied if I can't return the item after used. After my experience I will not be using RecreationID again. Why would you when you can buy from REI, Amazon, Walmart, Cabela's, etc. etc. where the return policy is actually EASY (and free) Returns.
