Incredible program! It really recover damaged CDs and DVDs. It requires a little patience because it seems it slows down (?!) the speed of the CD Drive to recover byte per byte.

I'm going through my 18 to 21-year-old photo backup CDs, and one had bitrot (visible eroding of the reflective layer), out of about 90 CDs. Two files were damaged. RT was able to recover one file perfectly, and the other was recovered as well as could expected, which was exactly what I needed. Easy to use and worked great!

I Recovered about 129 mp3 melodies from a scratched, damaged CD. The operation lasted about 3 hours and required a lot of patience from me, but the result was worth it. He recovered all the songs. Fantastic Software, I had a CD that was made by my now Deceased friend, and wanted to see the Pics he had taken, but most of them would not show, so I found this Software, used it only once and it saved all pics, and video perfectly. Always do a virus scan on files you download before installing. I can't verify this is trustworthy. It worked for me. That being said, I only used the program once on a very old CD in Windows 10 on a decent gaming system that is only a few years old and everything worked fine. My disk was not really scratched much but it was not copying the files to my computer simply by accessing my optical drive. This program read and copied the files with no problems. The app is pretty simple and easy to use. The older the computer you have the longer it will take and the larger and more amount of files you have the longer it will take. Therefore, you may have to get it going and just take a break and come back at a later time until it finishes. Especially if you have a very scratched up disk. And don't expect this program to read a disk that has been heavily damaged because at some point your optical drive just is not going to be able to read any relevant data. Take it to a paid pro to try to read it.
