I do want to clarify a couple of important points that may help explain what happened: • Your replacement earbud was not an older or cheaper version. We only carry the correct, genuine model for each listing. However, AirPods have different firmware versions, and when a customer’s other earbud is running older firmware, it can appear as if the replacement is “incompatible.” In these cases, the earbuds often need to be reset or paired a few times until the firmware syncs — which is why our team asked a few troubleshooting questions. This is to prevent you from receiving the wrong product and to get you up and running as quickly as possible. • We don’t send store credit unless a customer selects that option. Store credit is never automatically issued. If a refund was selected, it is always returned to the original payment method. If your return was accidentally routed as store credit, we’re more than happy to fix that immediately. It sounds like there may have been a misunderstanding in the return process somewhere along the way, and I apologize for the inconvenience that caused.
