Please!!!!! Do not sell your phone to them they will take your phone but never send you the money!!! They took my phone but never paid the money. It’s been more than a month since I shipped them the phone. They promised to send check in 10 business days but they never sent any check after sending multiple emails they finally send the check in email as PDF. But that check bounced because of insufficient funds. Contacted them again but no response. I will be taking legal route with them now as the check bounce is a crime.

12 days later and still not been paid. Getting generic emails about my payment will be expedited and nothing. Their voicemail is not setup so can’t leave messages. I hope my iPhone is not lost. 😔 Finally got my payment after writing the review. The owner of Recellio even asked me if I would be willing to modify my review or delete it now that they made payment. Seems to me that I was only paid after I made the review. Because I refused they challenged that i was even a customer of theirs with Trustpilot in a attempt to remove my review. I definitely will not be a returning customer.

Bait and switch. Their offer is high only to flip it on you with a significantly reduced price. They are sketchy and only pay in check unless you want to eat the cost of the fee. Run away from these guys.

The trade in went smooth , we received cheques. The cheques didnot clear through bank and bounced back. We have been following up with them for clearing our pending payments and didnot receive any help from them. We did contact them but we get some lame excuses every time and they dont reply to our emails after continuously following up with them.

Do you not trust them they gave me a quote. I took a video of me going to the Apple Store purchasing the device out right wrapping it up sealed and sending it to the post office. I didn’t get an email saying that the device wasn’t paid off and even though it was factory sealed there was still damage. This is happened to multiple friends of ours and they will rob you blind for any device you send them. And lie and say that there’s damage where there isn’t

This company offered the top price for an IPhone 8 among numerous buyback sites on a comparison website. The phone was in near perfect condition (no visible scratches anywhere - it was protected in a case the entire time we owned it.) When Recell.io received the device, they contacted me with a "revised" quote - a 40% reduction below the original offer. The claimed reason was "moderate wear on the back and moderate wear on the screen" (I see from other reviews they have done this to others as well). When I declined their lowball offer, they replied saying that they'd checked again, still found the problem but would offer me an additional $10 for my trouble. I rejected the revised offer and demanded they return the device ASAP. Upon receipt, I confirmed what I knew all along - that there was no visible wear anywhere on the device. I submitted a new offer to a different company which paid slightly less than Recell's original offer, but raised no concerns about the imaginary wear. Beware of this company. It would appear that they engage in the practice of offering high payments to attract offers, but then lowball people once they have your device. The hope, I assume, is that most people don't want to hassle with getting the phone back and selling it again - thus will accept their lowball. My recommendation is, just avoid them.

I believe this company to be a bait and switch type company. They told me they would give me $230 for my phone and then only offered me $100 for it when I sent it in. When I refused, they offered me more money, which I also refused. I believe this is what they do to people, hoping people get frustrated and just accept what they offer so they don't have to go through any more aggravation. My phone was in excellent condition but I listed it with them as good since I had had it for some time. They found all these things wrong with it that were not true. Complete scam. Update: Company reached out to Trust Pilot to say I was never a customer. I sent Trust Pilot documentation proving otherwise. That alone is a disreputable thing to do. I asked for my phone to be returned and when it was returned, the issue they claimed to have with the volume did not exist, nor did it when I sent the phone in. They sent me a video trying to show the "problem" but it had to be totally fabricated since the problem does not exist. I have since resold the phone privately and the buyer is extremely happy with the phone and the great condition it is in. The phone works perfectly.

Flat out fraudulent. Phone was sent to them in excellent cosmetic condition (despite me labeling it as "good" for a few minor micro scratches) and they lowered the price nearly $200 (yes, $200) after receiving it citing "moderate wear on the sides" and a "small scratch on the screen". Somehow that doesn't qualify as "good" quality. I have photos documenting the condition it was sent in and it was in better than good condition. Avoid at all costs. Also, notice how EVERY single 5-star reviewer only has 1 review posted. This website is flooded with fake reviews. Do your research folks.
