Quality reading for young people

Stories for all!

Great book! I gave my copy to my best friend, who is a single mom to two boys (7&5). She is thrilled to instill in the boys what awesome women have done through history! Great bedtime story book ❤️

We are huge fans of both volumes of Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls! My 6 year old loves reading/listening to these stories (as well as the podcasts), and I love that she is learning about strong women who have made a difference in our world and who inspire us to be brave, strong, and compassionate.

Price is a bit on the higher side for what I'd like to pay for books for my child, who doesn't always take the best care of her books. I still give it 5 stars because of the reason why I chose these books. In school, you mainly only hear about men in history as women didn't play much importance until very recently. I wanted my daughter to learn about women in history right along with men in history. I like the book has a wide range of women from ancient times to present. And their "jobs" or titles are also a wide range. Ballerinas, artist, cyclist, pirate, etc. It's got a little of everything in it. Overall, they're really neat books that every girl should get to read.

I have my fiancé read me a page each night, this book is even great for grown women to help even out all the men they were told are great all their lives while most women were in the shadows of history. What’s really cool is that I consider myself pretty well educated but hadn’t heard of most of these women. They did great research to find these women to fill this book. It wasn’t anything just thrown together. When we have children, l’ll read it to not only my little girl, but my boy as well to help combat what he’ll be taught out in the world.
