I missed out on the promo because the cashback from Southwest Airlines didn't come through despite accessing the website directly via RebatesMe. It happened again recently with Gap too. Unfortunately, neither merchant supports inquiries for missing cash back. If I had known how difficult getting the cashback approved was, I would not have added RebatesMe to my cashback list. At the time, it had the highest cashback percentage, but I would have taken a lower percentage at CouponCabin, Rakuten, RetailMeNot, or Hoopla had I known I was going to end up with nothing.

Website is wonky. Says it sends verification codes when it doesn’t.

I had a $1300+ order on a Pergola from Mirador on rebatesme.com. Mirador was great, had it delivered to my house, over 300lbs sitting in my garage right now. I have all the emails, the confirmation, even when I log on to the Mirador website, it states everything was paid and delivered. I get an email from rebatesme saying that "You earned $131.91* from your purchase at Mirador Outdoor Living!" I then tried to login to my rebates account and then it says my account was disabled. I went through customer service and gave them all the information they asked including order confirmation emails and screen shots from Mirador account website of my order. Their reply was that "orders were not actually completed and have been classified as fraudulent. As a result, your account will be permanently restricted from further use. This is the final decision. Please be advised." Total scam, I would have used a different rebate company for such a large purchase. They lie about your order and pretend you are fraudulent and will disable your account even though you give legitimate proof so that they do not have to give you a rebate. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CHINESE COMPANY

I signed up for RebatesMe thinking it would be an easy way to earn some cash back, but the experience has been nothing but confusion and disappointment. The site clearly says: “You will be able to cash out this amount once your total payable Cash Back amount reaches $10.” Nowhere does it mention that the $10 has to come only from cashback and not bonuses. I followed all the steps, made a qualifying purchase, and reached over $10 payable — but they still refused to release my bonus. When I contacted support, I got robotic replies that just repeated the same script instead of actually helping. The policies are written in a deliberately unclear way to make it sound like you’ll get your bonus easily, when in reality, they make you jump through endless hoops and wait months. I genuinely wanted to like this platform, but it feels dishonest. The lack of transparency and misleading information make it seem like RebatesMe is designed to confuse people into missing out on their bonuses. Save yourself the frustration there are plenty of cashback sites out there that are upfront about their terms and actually honor what they promise.

Absolutely the worst cashback experience of my life. Warning! This company will not pay you your cash back. They have one goal, which is to skim off the top of the orders you place with vendors. Do not trust! They lie!

They suspend the account without any reason

Retailmenot and rakuten much better approving cashback. Still did not get Some cashback from last year!! After approving taking cashback away on recent purchase. Not a good customer service

I use several rebate click through portals. Only RebatesMe has regularly cancelled the compensation. I kept wishing I had chosen a competitor like TopCashBack or others. Finally I got smart and deleted my account with RebatesMe and will convince others to do the same.
