Avoid this service at all costs!
I would seriously question Real Authentication’s transparency and credibility based on how they handled my dispute. They require two opinions from “reputable” authentication providers, yet refuse to provide a list of acceptable providers or clear criteria for what they consider reputable. They confirmed LegitGrails is acceptable, but when I repeatedly asked which second provider would qualify, they avoided answering and eventually stopped responding. This means customers are expected to spend additional money on external authentications without knowing whether RA will accept them afterwards. That is not a transparent dispute process. If a company’s policy depends on “approved” or “reputable” third parties, those criteria should be clearly disclosed — not withheld when a customer tries to follow the policy. Combined with a very generic “Counterfeit” report and little item-specific explanation, this experience has seriously undermined my confidence in Real Authentication.
