After reading all the reviews of one stars I could relate to lots of these Comments people are writing same thing that happened to me.. aggressive... lies ..overpaid ...they called me saying that my goal is worth a certain percent..that it's up 10,000... then I called back a few months later and nothing like the way they said I purchased $100,000... from 100,000 there was about 30,000 that went to fees that's what they said overpaid on gold very ridiculous Sky High price after doing my homework I overpaid about 30,000 once I did all the math and they said trust me we know what we're doing and that was just a lie I will never see that money ever again be careful... I did tell myself the only way to be sure that we're not getting ripped off is getting in contact with each other that purchase gold from this company as an example I purchased it on 2/2025.. so if someone else purchased it very close to this month and year let's see what they charge you maybe we purchase the same type of gold that way we'll see what they charge you and what they charge me that way we could see if they're basically just charging whatever they want

Beware of "Premium" Markup Coins
Beware of "Premium" Markup Coins: heavily promote proof coins or numismatic "collectible" items. These often carry much higher markups than standard bullion bars or government-minted coins, making them much harder to turn a profit on when you eventually sell them back.

Beware
In early 2025, my husband heard Kenny Michaels on the radio advertising Reagan Gold Group and promoting precious metals as the safest place to invest our retirement savings. He warned that the stock market was going to crash and strongly encouraged investing in gold and silver. Based on those representations, I rolled over $80,000 into a precious metals IRA with Reagan Gold Group, believing it was a sound and secure financial decision.
Over the following months, Kenny regularly called us with updates, telling us that our investment had doubled in value. He even provided what he said were the current values of our holdings, which gave us confidence that our retirement savings were growing.
A few months ago, we were surprised to learn that Kenny was no longer with Reagan Gold Group. We contacted the company and were assigned a new representative. When I received my next account statement, I immediately noticed that the account value was nowhere near what Kenny had previously reported.
Then, when I received my June statement, I discovered that my account had lost more than $9,000. This was devastating, considering this is money I worked more than 20 years to save.
I called my representative at Reagan Gold Group to ask for an explanation. I was told that the value of gold and silver had declined over the past six months due to geopolitical events, including the conflict involving Iran. However, that explanation raised more questions than answers. If my investment had supposedly been performing so well previously, how had I ended up losing a significant portion of my own money?
I was then told that the loss was also related to "fees." When I asked what fees, I was only aware of the annual maintenance fee. No one had clearly explained that there were additional fees that could have such a significant impact on my investment. I reviewed the contract, which is printed in very small type, and I could not find a clear explanation of these additional charges.
Based on my experience with Reagan Gold Group, I encourage anyone considering investing in precious metals to carefully research the investment, ask detailed questions about all fees and costs, and fully understand how those fees can affect the value of your retirement savings before making a decision. No one should invest their hard-earned retirement savings without having a complete understanding of the risks, pricing, and all associated fees.

Not sure why there are so many good…
Not sure why there are so many good reviews. This company is not transparent when they sale you metals. I experienced the same as another reviewer stated when i purchased 34k worth of silver. After the purchase I went into my account and saw my balance cut in half. I called and asked why and was told it’s the melt value. I said ok can I please have the total value? The numbers I was given was significantly lower then what I invested. When I asked where my $$ was , I was told I paid a premium price for the metals and the investment is intended for long term growth. Ok fine, I get that this is how you guys make $$.. however they are not transparent at all in explaining this to you when you buy. Not to mention you will need to pay 285$ a year to store your metals. Needless to say I was lucky to break even upon liquidation, be aware people, especially those investing there entire retirement into this.. you will lose $$ fight from the start, and if your lucky you’ll break even after a few years.. they also control the BBB reviews. I posted two negative reviews on BBB website that were taken down within a few days.

Kenny Michael misled me re: ~50% fees investing $100k
Mr. Michaels invested $100k in gold proof sets & silver eagles on Sept.2, 2025 from my Charles Schwab rollover IRA a/c. While gold & silver prices rose ~35% from Sept. 2, 2025 - May 19, 2026, the value of my Reagan Gold Group IRA a/c dropped 35% to $65K. That's because my account value imploded from $100K to ~$52K the nanosecond that Mr. Michaels placed the trade.
Thus, total transaction costs amounted to ~48%. Hence, (1-0.48)*100K*(1+0.35) = $52K *1.35 = ~$70K vs, $65K pe Mr. Cordoba. Math doesn't lie, ostensibly not the case for Mr. Michaels.
When I asked Robert Cordoba to explain this simple math, he evaded the question by sneering that he hadn't made the trade. Yet, he represented Mr. Michaels, who allegedly ripped me off egregiously. Mr. Michaels couldn't be reached for comment.
Thus, I must object & dutifully recommend that any & all potential clients eschew Reagan Gold Group.
History of Deception:
When I initially asked Mr. Michaels why my IRA had plunged from $100K to ~$52K the nanosecond that he posted my trades (for proof gold sets & American Silver Eagles), he dissembled. Mr. Michales stated that I was mistaken, having conflated tax value with retail value.
Mr. Michals further stated that I'd "receive that back" whenever I liquidated my IRA account. He then warranted that my account wasn't worth $52K, but nearly twice that value.
When I pursued that I was reading directly from my official a/c statement from My Equity, he screeched that I was wasting time. Thence, I persisted, stating flat out that my official MyEquity a/c statement must be correct. Thus, I demanded that the transactions be reversed immediately. I insisted that my $100K be returned via a tax-free IRA rollover to my Charles Schwab IRA a/c from whence it came a few days prior.
Mr. Michaels snapped that I was wrong, & he restated his deception that my account was worth at least $100K. When I tried a final time for Mr. Michaels to clarify why his statement contradicted the ~$52K figure from My Equity IRA a/c statement, he terminated our call.
Note, I've tracked my a/c value daily from Sept. 2025 until now, & a reported $72K was the highest value that MyEquity revealed.
Then, when I asked for a liquidation value of my account on May 19, 2026, Robert Cordoba (speaking for Mr. Michaels & for the Reagan Gold Group), quoted the $65K figure that I noted.
Also, he didn't answer my query concerning the decrease in my a/c value, although gold & silver rose in value ~35% (circa Sept. 2, 2025- May 19, 2026).
I quite logically surmise, that Mr. Cordoba didn't wish to admit what had assuredly occurred, due to a total of ~48% transaction costs levied on my Reagan Gold IRA account value on Sept. 2, 2025.
Consequently, I now once again demand that the transactions that Mr. Michales perpetrated (ostensibly as a perp) on Sept. 2, 2025, be reversed. Yet, I've received no reply. This connotes that Mr. Michaels dissembles, hides & then seemingly ignores his customer’s direct requests.
Mr. Michaels ignored my demands, because Regan Group levied unconscionable transaction costs.
Mr. Michaels nary divulged that Reagan’s transaction costs were anything near that level. On the contrary, twice he asserted transactions costs at Reagan Gold Group were the lowest in the industry.
That assertion is irrefutably false, as I learned via my research. Transaction costs at Reagan Gold Group for proof Au sets are amongst the highest of all major firms that offer tax-free rollover gold & silver IRAs.
To be clear, I demand that my $100K be returned to my Charles Schwab IRA account, dispite the threat that Robert Cordoba leveled. He advised that if I elected liquidation, a check would be sent to me. I'd be liable for all income taxes on the ~$65K, as if I requested a one-time complete liquidation.
This high-handed threat, likely to dissuade investors from liquidation, is wholly unethical, & I shall be reporting this violation to the IRS.
Namely, this policy is unconscionable & further illustrates unethical practices that are apparently rampant at Reagan Gold Group.
Recognize that even should Reagan Gold Group unwind the trade of my $100K (intact, sans unethical and unauthorized 48% transaction costs), I’d still be bereft tax-deferred appreciation of ~35% had I left the funds invested in my Charles Schwab IRA a/c where I’d invested in a the ETF ticker symbol GLD. Irgo, Reagan Group cost me -$70k
CONCLUSION: Mr. Michaels never divulged (& to date has never admitted) that Reagan Gold Group’s transaction costs total -48% for proof gold sets.
Mr. Michaels (Regan Gold Group) consistently misled & lied to cloak exorbitant transaction costs of unbridled greed.
On 6/9/26 Manager "David" demanded that I take down my Trust Pilot review, or Reagan Gold Group wouldn't work with me to remit any funds.

I would not do business with a company that lies like this.
I would not do business with a company that lies so badly in their ads!
They claim Trump just passed Executive order 14208 ot take your money! This is not a Trump bill but was passed in May of 2021 by the BIden administration and it focuses on modernizing cybersecurity practices, promoting collaboration between public and private sectors, and improving incident response capabilities.
It's a shame Reagan gold group has to lie to try and scare people to try and sell their overpriced gold.

WARNING – DO NOT FUND YOUR IRA WITH PRECIOUS METALS BEFORE READING THIS FIRST
WARNING – DO NOT FUND YOUR IRA WITH PRECIOUS METALS BEFORE READING THIS FIRST of REAGAN GOLD GROUP, Los Angeles, CA
Regan Gold Group (RGG) took the majority of our retirement. Our account aggregate return over the past 2 years should have been over 200%. How is it our accounts in total show a 11.5% return, according to in RGG’s upper management? Lack of transparency!
After purchase and doing research, we realized we were charged extreme markups on the metals sold to us, including:
· Silver markups as high as approx. 531%–546% above spot!
· Gold markups: 100%–102% above spot!
· Platinum markups:146%–191% above spot!
These markups were not clearly delineated given the convoluted pricing scheme including esoteric proof values determined by RGG’s “internal database.” We never wanted the product of “proofs”, and we specifically asked for bullion. Thus, we were under the impression we received bullion.
Since the time of our purchases, spot prices have increased materially across all our precious metals. Depending on the metal and purchase date, spot price increases range approx. as follows:
· Gold: up to 121% increase!
· Silver: up to 248% increase!
· Platinum: up to 167% increase!
We made the following intentions explicitly clear:
· We are not a coin collector
· We are seeking the best possible investment value for portfolio growth
· The purchases were made strictly for retirement savings
· We only wanted bullion. NOT proofs
The metals were deposited directly into IRA accounts. We reasonably expected to receive products structured to maximize investment value, not proofs/premium burdened by excessive and unjustified premiums!
BEWARE of the CONTRACT of 5%-35%. Indeed, most sales were made at taking 35% of our money immediately at the time of purchase.
When asked why our account was so low, one answer was, melt/spot value is less than the actual coins, which we understood, but still this does not account for the majority of loss! We asked them for links (which we never received) to prices of the products to compare anywhere on the internet, so it appears we were overcharged on the products also which explains why the metals in our custodian account were valued at around half of the purchase.
RGG massively overcharges on selling proofs.
They overinflate the value of what you are sold.
BEWARE of positive online comments of RGG as these appear to be written by new clients who do not yet realize their account value is egregiously lower than expected. Most likely have not yet tried to liquidate. Note on RGG’s website, there is not a single good review of someone’s experience trying to liquidate.
