This site is built off a highly undeveloped AI. The questions differ between being highly opinionated, to to down right stupid. We are forced to partake in this horrid site in school and it is by far my most dreaded part of the day. The quiz and grading system is complete bull and I hope nobody ever expereinces this site

It's low-key, so annoying because as a person who uses readtheory... Idk why my level doesn't go down because they only give me grade 12 quizzes, and it is really hard for me, so I can't get the ones in my level, but instead, something that it is too hard, and it becomes a bit of a guessing game.

I highly suggest any highschool or university lecturer that they never implement this website into the curriculum. I had get up to 1390L in score and it took hours in which absolutely nothing. The questions are opinionated and even the smartest person in the entire planet can’t get every single one right and when you get one wrong it sets you back 10000 points. The concept is there but the website and questions are the one of the worst things i’ve ever done.

Bad experience, this is the worst website to learn, literally. There's everything that is wrong, and the worst part, subjective questions that can be wrong.

IT is not helpful at all to my learning and provides false information about various things.

My son is in 6th grade and has to complete 3 read theories a week. Of course we work until he makes a 100 on them. The subject matter is hit and miss and the questions are overly complicated. Up to 3 ads with every passage to read. The ad's are incredible distracting. I as a parent would not recommend this program.

I would just like to say that out of all my years of being a student, ReadTheory is by far one of the worst (if not the most) terrible programs I have EVER used. The questions are insanely vague and the answers feel like they're not letting you into a secret world or language. It's made me really contemplate how hard teachers research sites to give their students. The only thing it could possibly be compared to is a website called CommonLit which was also terrible and made me suffer almost as much as I do with this site. If you're a teacher reading this and pondering whether you should provide this service to your students, don't you dare give them this. I've struggled on this site so much that I've compiled a folder of screenshots from questions and answers that don't make sense in the slightest. It really says a lot if I'm going out of my way typing this with 28 other people in my favor. Please, never assign ReadTheory. Your students will thank you in the long run once they hear all the terrible stories of the company from colleagues.
