My daughter enjoys both the online class as well as the local campus class. The material is developmentally grade level approved.

This is a great program! My son has been taking it since he entered school and we've seen a lot of improvement in his reading skills.

Melissa
The skills reinforced during the program are grade appropriate and help my son not loose any ground over the summer. His reading teacher was very pleased she could start where they left off the previous school year, jumping into new content, because she didn't have to review what was learned the previous year.

Hello Melissa, I'm happy that this program bridged the gap for your son over the summer. We hope to see him again this year so that he can continue gaining new ground. - Tara, Customer Care Specialist

Entering kindergarten was amazing. My daughter enjoyed the online activities and the classroom. Entering 1st grade went a little downhill but still helpful for me as a parent and her as a student. Classroom time was great but the online portion was not as engaging. She enjoyed Wordy, but the interactive teacher was very dry and hard to keep watching. Overall, the courses are designed well and very helpful for the upcoming school year. That's why we are returning for the 3rd time. It has been proven for two years to be very very helpful.
Ashley
I think it’s a good program it needs to be a little longer than 6 weeks.
Response from Institute of Reading DevelopmentMay 6, 2019
Hello Ashley, thank you reviewing the program. We enjoy teaching the programs so much we wish each one could last all summer long! Happily, the habit of reading for pleasure that kids get from the program lasts well beyond the end of the program. We appreciate that your child benefited from enrolling and we hope to see you this summer. - Tara, Customer Care Specialist
