The instructor was informative and patient. The class helped with beginning phonics and reading simple sentences just as promised. The instructor also kept the students fully engaged with her teaching methodology. The books that are included were fun and my daughter enjoyed them. My only negative is that the instructor cancelled the last 2 classes 30 minutes before they were scheduled to start. The students could have gotten much more out of the class with the last 2 sessions.

The only reason I give this 4 instead of 5 stars is this... I wanted more 1on 1 interaction and some sort of evaluation of the child’s progress. Rather than just recommendations on what to do next. I was a little disappointed in that area. But other than that I thought the program was great! My child’s reading skills have 💯 improved!! Thank you again!!

The experience was great for me and my grandson. The class size was good about 15 to 1.I do wish it was more affordable, so many children need these services but can't afford them. I hope we can do it again. I did not realize he could read and do the exercises by himself.

My kindergarten level (entering first grade) son took the reading program. Overall, it was fairly basic. The computer portion is good but the classroom portion falls behind. It was delivered too quickly for my child to adequately keep up, so he really gained nothing from class attendance. Also the classroom portion is woefully behind in technology compared to what my son is used to in his regular classroom and had high expectations for how long kindergarten aged children were to sit still with no break and no interaction. I suggest the computer portion only at your child’s own pace with heavy adult support and supervision in your own home.

Our grandson enjoyed the program and looked forward to doing the on line classes. He made good headway in sounding out his words and understanding them. I think part of the excitement is interacting on the computer. He still enjoys reviewing the previous courses and going through the excercises. I am only limiting my review to four stars because my daughter attended the weekly classes with my grandson and I cannot speak to them.

I'm only giving this 4 stars, because they need to assess the kids prior to starting the program. Not all of them are at the same level so it will be helpful to know where they need help/improvement.

This program worked well for my child. It provided good motivation for us as a family to make sure we were reading each week. My son enjoyed completing the online portion. The books were somewhat more difficult than expected in terms of the length and the number of words on a page - my son found the books a little overwhelming at first but was able to succeed with some co-reading and extra encouragement. He really enjoyed the in-class portion (more than I expected) and seemed to look forward to going to the class each week. The size of class was perfect and he benefited from seeing other students at a similar reading level. I hope that this confidence will carry over to the school year.
