I was really impressed with the reading program. My child was really struggling with reading. This class showed me that I was selecting the wrong books for my child. This class gave me many many tips for helping my child at home. The online interactive site was great. He was able to complete on his own. This program is great for keeping kids brains active during the summer. It it very expensive. I could not afford to send both of my children who are one grade level apart. But they worked online together at times. I would hope the price could decrease in the near future so that more children could benefit.

This program was clear and easy to follow. My son was not very motivated to take a class this summer. The once a week class and homework was just right. Plus, he felt like he made progress in reading skills and learning how to study textbooks all of which were good preparation for the 6th grade.

Can't thank this program enough. My son, a rising high schooler has really double his reading speed over the course of 5 sessions. It's amazing! He not only enjoyed the class, he has also started to enjoy reading more because everything he reads makes sense to him after the program. It is a very solid and high quality program! Just couldn't tell you the tremendous joy I have watching my son reading more intensely than playing on his electronics!!! It will be beneficial to the students even more if they can also offer writing class to go hand in hand with the reading program. Looking forward to seeing the writing class coming to the west coast in the near future!

Yasmin, I love hearing about our older, high-school students’ success in our classes. It’s great that your son is reading faster and reading more. We are piloting a writing program in some regions and we hope to expand it in coming summers. - Tara, Customer Care Specialist

The teacher was excellent. Her enthusiasm for reading books was apparent. She engaged the students with play acting the books after they were read. My daughter really enjoyed the class and it taught me how to assist her in journey to leaning how to read.
