This summer was our sixth Reading Program class and it just keeps getting better with the choice of books. My child really loved his teacher this summer because she made the lessons relatable and applicable. We can't wait to sign up for the next class. I highly recommend!

A fantastic early reading class, my daughter is now spelling out words, recognizing sight words, and rhyming on her own. She is four years old. And we loved all the picture books we received. One was Blueberries for Sal, and when we went blueberry picking this summer, my daughter exclaimed, "Hey, we're picking blueberries just like Sal!" And then she made kerplink noises as she dropped the berries in her plastic bucket. I'd say her reading comprehension is strong! Overall, this class was a win! (Note: my daughter has always loved books and literacy, and showed signs of wanting to read prior to this class.)

This was a first for us, and so far my little one was quite engaged. The book that were recommend was just right , the stories were interesting and not long. Which he loved. Sometimes when stories drag and takes long to get to the point, My little one losses interest. Within was each session, the educator encourages the children to talk about the book. This process helped my little one remember details and understand reasoning within each problem. Overall, he enjoyed it and so did I .

My son loved the online experience and looked forward to every session. We can see the difference in his ability to read and comprehend. Thanks so much for the extra push and he’s looking forward to doing it again!

My four year old attended the program and we found it to be very beneficial. He is able to read short sentences since he started the program and he enjoys reading more. The assignments in between classes were helpful.

I loved this reading and writing program for my rising 5th grader. It was just long enough that his attention was captured. The books were interesting as well and it was nice to see other students from across the US. The instructor, Mr. Vick is a phenomenal teacher. I highly recommend this class to all parents interested in keeping their child engaged in reading and writing.

Very helpful to teach a love for reading I love this program and we have done it many times. My daughter is in 4th grade now and we started in Kindergarten with her. We are also doing it with our son and although it was difficult the first year (preK), this year he got into it and made huge progress. If the first time seems more difficult, don't give up, sometimes it clicks later.
