So happy to have been invited to talk a little about my book, A Killing in Rio Vista. I feel very privileged to have been asked to do this, as there are many authors out there and it is so difficult to get exposure. I think the imaginable the wondrous voice inside of me said, I never would have thought I would’ve had the opportunity to become partners of the adventure with the Readers Magnet publishing company. The adventure begins with their putting together workshops so that I and others would become acquainted with being involved with zoom so that I could learn, grow, and being stretched (“ouch“). with this new concept of technology. Live on computer was a bit troubling for me. I was apprehensive at first , but the more I became familiar with the ideas the were being presented to me by the Readers Magnet representatives I became more accepting of the ideas. The workshops were extremely helpful for me. Asking questions and listening to others responding was also helpful, being given the chance to gain insight into what the training was all about, and for. Becoming more familiar with the the concept which was spoken live by the instructiors. I for one need to ask questions, questions that don’t intimidate, but trulyly try to help myself and maybe help someone else. Preparing for the day of Festival of Story Tellers approaches and knowing what I was going to do was important to me as I asked myself “where are you going with this adventure,” and reminding myself that God is an abundant God and with Him all things are possible. Remembering this truth gave way to Yuen idea of wearing a Lady Bug costume which is one of the characters in my book, The Ladybug and the Bully Frog. I must say I was a bit skeptical, but with the encouragement of Readers Magnet Advisors Jam , as well as my family, was the boost I needed to go forward and have Victory over my fears. The day of the Festival of Story Tellers event was amazing, scary, and challenging to say the least. It was extremely helpful for me to know the staff of Readers Magnet was knowledgeable and helpful for me as well as the Moderator with the line of questions being asked of me was also helpful to bring to the public how I became an Author and the the Stories I wrote for children and adults. These 3 books that I have written The Song Of Solomon The Snail , The Ladybug and the Bully Frog, as well as Solomon Snail’s Beach Adventure, were gifts given to me by the Mighty Wondrous Voice of Love, His Message for the young and the young at heart. My life is but a story of a story teller. I encourage others to write their own ideas. We all have something unique to share, as unique as we are, This story may also help someone to become creative with something new and wonderful. My vision and Storywas written on my heart never knowing where it would all go. When we are thinking of the unimaginable “ Could I” or”What If”, I say , “Yes,”. This is because my idea started with something small, and grew into something unimaginable. The journey with Readers Magnet brought forth the incredible day of Story Tellers Festival and hearing”You can do all things unimaginable and unobtainable with Godwhich with God all are made possible. From my heart to yours Readers Magnet I say Hurray!!! And Thank You!
