If the deal had not took so long
If the deal had not took so long, I would have given 5 stars. I will definitely be using again.

I have actually performed 2…
I have actually performed 2 transactions (one rehab project and one long term rental) with RCN in the past 3 months. RCN has been one of my favorite private money lenders that I've worked with in my almost 4 years of experience in real estate. This would have been a 5-star rating if not for the Third-Party vendor that is used for appraisal purposes (Appraisal Nation). The worst part of the process, for both transactions, was Appraisal Nation slowing us down by about a week. Beyond that, I've enjoyed working with RCN - they are competitive within the industry and have great rates and incentives for repeat customers.

During the process there were…
During the process there were occurrences where documents had to be sent over several times due to a system glitch which delayed the process. However I did feel Eileen went over and beyond to get the deal through and I am very appreciative of her service!

The 12% rate is a little painful
The 12% rate is a little painful, but Elaine and her team have been great to work with.. communicative and always doing what/when they say they will do it.

Investor Loans
We like that RCN does not charge interest on renov loan until it is used and also reimbursement for purchases. This is so helpful to getting the property done. We worked with Eileen who was very helpful and reasonable we would certainly work with her again.

A happy customer!
The staff is extremely helpful. A bit conservative with their lending, but that is good for their investors. The draw process is fairly straight forward. The east coast team is very responsive. Ms. Strange is outstanding, as are Devin and Jeff.

They are fairly easy to work with.
This was my first experience with a hard money lender her. I found RCN to be fairly responsive and mostly easy to deal with.
