Starting your dog on a healthy path means choosing the right food, and steering away from the standard kibble and chemical-infused raw dog food. Instead, go Raw Wild. 25% OFF Your First Order & FREE Shipping What Makes Raw Wild Dog Food SpecialThe advantages of a raw dog food diet aren't anything new. After all, that's how all dogs evolved over the last 55 million years, eating raw and wild foods that are found in nature -- not highly processed foods generated in a factory. Even if your dog isn't eating the kibble made in a factory, most other raw dog foods aside from Raw Wild, contain some unappetizing -- and potentially harmful -- ingredients like antibiotics, corn, growth hormones, animal byproducts, preservatives, grains, fillers, rice, and potentially 4D meats. Feed only Raw Wild and you'll be giving your dog 99.4% wild-grown venison and elk and 0.6% vitamins and minerals. No AllergensIt should come as no surprise that dogs, like humans, are facing more allergens and having reactions to an ever-increasing list of allergy-inducing substances. Even if your dog has never shown signs of having an allergy to a particular substance previously, a reaction can still occur at any time. For example, the presence of GMO-modified foods exposes your dog to compounds that are so far removed from nature that his body can't effectively process them. Virtually all raw dog foods are made from farm-raised animals. That means animals crammed into such tight quarters they must be given antibiotics regularly, and feed grains and corn sprayed with insecticides and fertilizers and herbicides, instead of eating wild grass off of a mountainside.Raw Wild is free of all allergens, is fed on wild grasses, and plucked from nature -- much like the diet your dog would have naturally gravitated to in the wild. Healthier DogWhile addressing known allergens or preventing the onset of potential allergies are compelling reasons to feed Raw Wild, the benefits of a raw dog food diet go far beyond al

The packaging and shipping was great!!! I really like the food ingredients! However, my dog doesn’t want to eat it I tried for a week, same . Not sure why, but he refuses to eat it .

Your product is excellent. Your packaging is wasteful, bulky and antiquated. (Note: Most recycling centers do not provide an option to recycle styrofoam.) For example Raised Right and The Farmer's Dog are comparable products with environmentally sound packaging. When you ask for a review, hopefully part of your reasoning is to do better.

Please share something comparable in terms of cost that isn't "wasteful, bulky and antiquated". All of the packaging is recyclable, including the foam containers- go here to find out where. https://www.homeforfoam.com/home/ Not sure what you mean by wasteful if you can recycle everything- recycling centers everywhere are taking foam. Bulky? Not sure about that either- cardboard and foam is pretty light but we realize that the raw meat is not. Antiquated? Not sure what even means in the context of packaging but we are really glad that you like the product. We are always looking to improve so any help you can give us is appreciated. We are glad that you like the product.

The ordering process was easy and efficient. Meat looks rich and fresh; arrived on time and frozen. My cats love the food. I would have given a 5-star rating if it weren't for the packaging. It came in a large styrofoam cooler with 4 ice-packs. I inquired whether there was a return/reuse system and got no response. Given the global warming environmental crisis we are facing, this type of packaging, of non-recyclable styrofoam, without a system for re-use, is environmentally irresponsible and I cannot support it, so I will go with Darwin's instead. They use recyclable paper padding and only one ice pack; and it worked just as well.

We totally get where you are coming from. Unfortunately Darwin's is able to use dry ice because they have such a huge volume of business that they can easily and cost effectively make and store their own dry ice. We are a very small family run operation and simply can't afford to buy dry ice in the small quantities we would need and don't have sufficient cold storage to keep the dry ice which has to be stored at -109.5 F. Also, you can totally recycle the foam boxes- take a look here http://www.homeforfoam.com/foam-101/foam-recycling-centers Thanks for trying Raw Wild Dog Food and know that we are always looking at new, cost effective ways to be more environmentally responsible.

the shipping is awfull really
Response from Raw WildJan 15, 2023
We get it Bobby. Unfortunately shipping is completely out of our control. UPS doesn't even guarantee delivery if we pay for over night delivery. Also, you were caught up in the double whammy where they didn't pickup or deliver two Mondays in a row for Xmas and New Year and we only ship on Monday and Tuesday. We have learned our lesson and will be sending out emails to our affected customers to warn them in the future.
