We were not sure staying in Long Island City across from Manhattan would work out. It works just fine! The Ravel shuttle can whisk you to subway stations and in a few short minutes, you're enjoying New York. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and accomodating. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Go there, if you want to enjoy a stay in New York!

The Ravel Hotel is in a good location overlooking Manhattan on the East River with fantastic views, the staff were helpful and friendly. There is a shuttle bus to the nearest subway station and it only takes about 10 minutes to Times Square, Central Park etc. so for all the attractions it ideally located. The hotel is generally clean and comfortable, the decor is not to everyone's taste but we thought it good and different. Okay the actual area where the hotel is cited is not particularly pretty but we thought it safe enough to walk at night in the area and from the subway etc. It could do with a little updating\makeover and general improvements but maybe this will happen once the new wing is open. Not too bad overall.

Dear Mr. Coveney, Thank you for your valuable feedback. The general area is industrial with major changes in the plans. We are also expanding our property. Ravel Hotel is 6 years old and already expanding as we are in high demand. when our new wing is complete you will be able to enjoy many new amenities such as: a beer garden, another rooftop on the 10th floor. If you visit in the winter we will have an ice skating rink. if you visit in the summer you will be able to enjoy our rooftop pool. Again thank you for your feedback and we look forward to accommodating you on your next visit. Yours in Hospitality, Klestor Pellumbi General Manager

A GREAT VIEW, remodeled space and great staff! What more could you ask for? Our room was CLEAN, with plenty of room and a very MODERN design and layout. The location can't be beat. We pulled up to The Ravel at 9:30pm, unpacked our luggage, found a FREE parking spot, and hopped on a shuttle to the closest subway and was sitting down for dinner in TIME SQUARE by 10:30! Walking back to the Hotel at 2am we were a little nervous, but never saw a soul, just a few cars drove by. And did I mention THE VIEW!?! It was amazing! We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to NYC. PLUS a very fair price!

This was my first stay at The Ravel Hotel and I couldn't have been more pleased. Convenient, chic, and cost efficient. My meeting was a short walk from the hotel so it was quite convenient. Service and food in the The rooftop restaurant were incredible. Great venue for photo ops. The car service back to Penn Station was wonderful. I would highly recommend this property for business or personal travelers.
