My siblings and I have been eating standard grocery store black beans since we were infants. However, a few years ago, I discovered Rancho Gordo and tried a bag of their Ayocote Negro beans. My bean game drastically changed. After an overnight soak and a session in the pressure cooker just like Grandma used to do, With the sofrito and seasonings. I realized these are on a whole different level.

I've been buying from Rancho Gordo for a decade, and their beans changed how we eat. Other beans are not as tasty or fresh -- and they cooks wonderfully with no soaking because they are so fresh. We place orders for our family about once very couple of months.

I have been ordering beans from Rancho Gordo for a couple of years. They've turned me into a bean freak. I love experimenting and being totally suprised at how good a bean can be (thank you, Good Mother Stallard). The beans are top quality. Not as cheap as beans in the store, but so good, and they're one grocery item I prioritize.

Outstanding products - beans and more! The heirloom beans are fresh and cook up quickly. Not your typical grocery store bean! Their chilis, herbs and spices are a must try.
