You can really take this as far as you want. But it all comes down to various filtration and processing systems.Explore: Let us guide you through the entire process.Understand: With our rainharvest lab it becomes easy for you to envision a rainharvest system of your own.Collect: There is more rain coming, catch it.

We had quite a backorder. But we were told about that and still wanted to wait for our delivery.
Unfortunately, though, the Berkey was shipped to the wrong address and is now in Florida while we are in New Hampshire.
A young lady called me when she got my email and admitted to the mistake humbly. So, mistakes happen.
I can't give a review on the product (yet), but was very impressed with the follow up regarding the delivery problem.
I would order from your company again simply because of that phonecall.

Customer sales Prompt and courteous.
Customer sales service was awesome, prompt and courteous. Tried to contact the engineering department a number of times on installation suggestions, and they never got back with me. Engineer in department got back to me one time, but when I called for additional questions no one ever returned my call. Had to figure it out myself.

System works as described
System works as described. Too early to determine effectiveness of ability to divert and separate the initial roof contaminants,
Simple to install, although the directions and diagrams were somewhat confusing.
Biggest disappointment was learning the length of the diverter "tail" needed to adequately provide the "first flush". For example, a 24'x40' roof in a polluted area would require 74' of 4" PVC to divert. That amount seems impractical in most residential areas.

Hi John,
We are sorry you are having problems. We recommend a different version of this product for your application with that much diversion. Please contact our technical support department for assistance.

I am happy with the product but have…
I am happy with the product but have reservations about the delivery. I know it was a long way from Ft Worth andy residence was a challenge to find but the delivery company did not do a cautious job on transporting the tank. They arrived at dusk (about 30 min before dark) it was to dark already to do a proper inspection. There was considerable tank depressions that were visible on the outside from the way they had the tank strapped down. I wanted to inspect the interior but it was too dark. The next morning I inspected the interior and found what appeared to be layer desperation, bubbling. Had I saw this the night before I would have declined the shipment. It is too late now to do anything about it. I just hope the damage is not fatal to the tank
Only time will tell. Your shippers need to be more conciencious about how they secure their payload.

Hello Peter,
Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you were not impressed with the way the freight handlers handled your freight. I certainly concur that freight companies need to be more careful with the freight we are trusting in their hands, but sometimes that proves to be quite a challenge, especially when the freight is handled by multiple parties. Know that we are here to help, in any way we can, with this process. We strive to make the delivery process as smooth as possible, but sometimes there are unavoidable bumps in the road.
With regard to damage during shipping, or a manufacturer defect (on the on inside), we typically ask that you send us pictures, right away, so we can assess the situation, as every shipment is different and needs to be addressed as such. If there is anything else we can do to help, please give us a call at 770-889-2533 or send us an email (by replying to one of the emails we sent you) and we would be happy to assist, with any questions or concerns you may have.
Thanks a lot,
The RainHarvest Team

Product came damaged
Product came damaged. Pictures were sent of product and how it came within 14 minutes of my receiving and opening the box. This is the second one I have owned and like the product very much when it is not shipped damaged. Eventually replacement product was shipped to me. This product does work very well, can use 1 or 2 hoses to pull water off to your cistern. Very easy to remove upper screen to shake off debris once in a while. We use it on a 1200 gallon cistern.

Works beautifully but over priced.
Beautiful, simple unit, free of a whole mumble jumble of electrics, but device is way over priced. Needed a few more units but pricing is a big let down.

Dirty goods
Delivery was as promised, but the 4 PVC fittings looked like they were stored outside: dirty and the 2 page stick on instruction sheets did not function as they were stuck together!
When U open a box and see dirt, it makes you wonder why Mgt. doesn't get out from behind the desk and look at how the shipping dept. is representing their company!!!
Response from RainHarvest SystemsJan 10, 2019
Jim,
I'm sorry to hear that there was some dirt on your product. We send the product out exactly as we receive it from the manufacturer. We intentionally leave them in their original packaging to avoid any debris from getting inside the package, that being said i'm sure some products don't always arrive perfectly packaged and i apologize for that. I'm not sure what you mean by the stick on instruction sheet, there is an installation sheet inside the box if that is what you are referring to? Here is a link to instructions for installation: https://www.rainharvest.com/info/rainharvesting/Leaf-Eater-Advanced_4inch-leaflet.pdf
Once again i'm sorry to hear your product arrived in that condition. If there is anything else we can do to help just give us a call.
Thanks,
The RainHarvest Team

Overall good
Item took longer to ship than hoped for, and one item not necessary for application requested was added to the order. Over all happy with everything after getting it all setup. Sales rep was respectful and responded to my requests in a timely manner. Shipping was a bit costly and the shipping company failed to deliver on time citing they “needed to schedule an appointment” when that was never disgusted, forcing me to drive to their local distribution center through holiday traffic to get it before the long weekend.
Response from RainHarvest SystemsJan 9, 2019
Jason,
I'm sorry to hear that the shipping company didn't inform you about scheduling an appointment. If you still have the item not necessary for your setup and it is still in like new condition we can work something out to get you a refund and have that sent back to us. If you would like you can give us a call and we can get this worked out.
Thanks,
The RainHarvest Team
