Optout process is confusing on purpose
Optout process is confusing on purpose. They said they would send me an email in 30 - 60 minutes to confirm my optout. It never came in. Eventually I checked the removal request status on their tracking page and it said: "Your request requires individual review. Please contact us at ... so we can assist you further. We appreciate your patience and will do our best to resolve the issue promptly." They never sent me any email to say anything about that. So if I hadn't saved the request ID and thought to check it on that URL I never would have known. I bet this silent failure is the reason a lot of people are leaving these other bad reviews saying they never got an email. Anyway, I emailed them and it seems like they are helping me know but they are making it a big pain the butt and I should have gotten an email from them in the first place explaining to me that they needed something more from me. At this point they are not even asking for any additional information from me so I do not know why their automated process did not just do it for me and why they had to involve customer service. I bet they are just trying to make it hard for people to delete their data because they don't want them to as a lot of others here are saying. I'm not happy.

Hello Van, Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize for the frustration. We certainly do not complicate the opt-out process on purpose. While most requests are handled automatically, some trigger security filters that require a manual review to protect data profile integrity. We appreciate your patience while working with our support team to ensure your information is completely removed. Best regards, Radaris customer service
