I’m writing specifically/reviewing ‘trust’ pilot. It’s really obvious that the a large % of the reviews for rackmount solutions are plants. People are overwhelmingly excited to share their experience with us, how great RS is that they mention not a single detail about what they bought or the purpose that brought them to the store (or online). These are very specific products we’re talking about- server racks, shelving, cabling - essentially products and accessories that 1) go in a data centers to support a businesses or the prosuner that keeps a rack at home for their hardware (like myself). specific products are almost never mentioned so we hear routine hyperbole about the awesome customer Service- it’s so good we hear almost zero detail as to why, how they were helped or what problem was solved. Lastly, these empty 5 star reviews are almost exclusively left from a one hitter quitters. Their first/last review was their nonsensical experience at rack solutions.

I've spent four weeks waiting for this company to clarify why they want to scalp me for $15 to ship 12 tiny nuts that can be sent for $2 in a first class envelope, along with $30 (!!) for the nuts. Every interaction takes a week. These people are incompetent id*ots. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Countless errors were made by Rackmount customer service that end up costing myself and the company I work for money. Due to these errors, our data center rebuild was delayed and deadlines were not met. It is neat that Rackmount makes custom cabinets. It would be really neat though if they had customer service reps. Instead they have humans with heart beats that answer phone calls. This is not to be confused with a customer service rep.

Here are the facts. Originally called in about parts. CS Agent I spoke with gave me info about parts and did not mention they were out of stock. Asked agent if I could place order online. Thursday Jan 15th 2015 3:38pm: I placed order online. Friday Jan 16th 2015 3:32pm: I forward order confirmation email to sales team @ rackmountsolution.net and ask if the order has been shipped. Tuesday Jan 20 th 2015 7:10am: received email from sales team @ rackmountsolution.net asking me to rate their service but no info about my order! Tuesday Jan 20th 2015 1:25pm : I called 800-352-6631 to try to get info about my order. Spoke with CS Agent and was informed that some of the things I ordered was not in stock and that the items "should" ship out tomorrow. Keep in mind that if the order ships out tomorrow, I still won't receive the order for another 3 days due to transit time. I originally placed my order 5 days ago, I was planning to have the items in my possession by now! Due to this I have to reschedule the install.
