To say I am frustrated with Quizlet's recent decisions is a severe understatement. I am beyond angry with this parasite of a company's money-hungry behavior as of late. I've been using Quizlet since middle school to learn and master topics that I wasn't the greatest at. Quizlet used to be a fantastic source of effective studying and learning that myself and many others utilized and relied on. The same cannot be said as of now. This absolute scumbag, bottom feeding, money-hungry, parasitic leech of a company has managed to piggyback off of the generosity and hard work of scholars and teachers across the world, and now wants you to pay for content that THE COMPANY DID NOT CREATE. That's right, you too can now spend hours creating a study set on Quizlet, only for the company to lock YOUR OWN CONTENT behind a paywall! The sad part is, is that I was actually considering purchasing Quizlet Plus because I had been such a loyal user of the site for so many years, and it was the only study tool I really enjoyed; however, after reading so many reviews in which countless users have gotten scammed by Quizlet, I will be doing no such thing and I would STRONGLY encourage everybody else to save your money for a company that actually DESERVES your time and money. With that being said, Quizlet, shame on you. You deserve whatever fate that awaits your foul, parasitic, leech of a company.

This stupid. So, you want to make high school and college students pay a fee for a website that helps with school? The fact that there is even a fee is ridiculous. If kids are willing to use a platform to get better at, school then make it accessible. It is pathetic that Quizlet as a company needs to even think about doing something stupid like this. most students already hate school but with Quizlet there is help. It's stupid however that Quizlet thinks that if they take away that freedom that people would use it more, they are wrong. I hope they lose millions of dollars and customers. This is utterly a failed marketing idea on their part. I am very disappointed in you quizlet, like what they actual crap. DO better.

I would rather give Quizlet zero stars if I could. And I made an account just to leave this review. Yeah, I'm a very angry student and Quizlet user of six years. I have used this website since high school, and now that I'm finishing my last two years in college, I relied on Quizlet a lot more, especially as a free study service for an already-broke student. Features like Learn and Test were their most effective study methods, and I think they realized this, too, for the company to start charging access through Quizlet Plus. I really NEEDED those features because of the intense courses I am in, especially for my language learning classes (Learn and Write were CRUCIAL for my Japanese). Flipping through flashcards is nothing without Learn and Test, because there's not a true long-term memory solution to studying. Again, Quizlet knows this. The site is practically useless now... all because of greed. What makes it worse is the demographic affected. Students and especially teachers never have enough finances to cover educational needs and rely on this service, and Quizlet is selfishly capitalizing on that by depriving their users and putting up a paywall for better studying. Just think about it: you're being charged to study. Quizlet is nothing but another money-hungry corporation in this exploitative, capitalist dystopia. You are nothing unless you can pay. Use a different and free site. You have a right to better learning.

Used to love this app as it was one of the only ones that didn’t require a fee to use one of of their useful features… Why does everything has to have a fee? For sure now less people will use it . SMH

I’m already broke as being in school takes up all my time and paying bills leaves my pockets empty, now I can’t even study for free smh! This World is so Full of Money hungry, nothing is never True to its word!
