Quizlet: Digital flashcards and online study toolsReviews of quizlet.com

I've been using it for years and I really enjoyed the app. Because of the paywall, I switched to anki. I'm really disappointed 😞

Quizlet.com is abusing the control of learners through only allowing 5 ROUNDS of the area in the web page/ application called 'Learn mode.' It is my most used platform for revision and it has been completely taken from me but for 5 rounds. To put it simply, I am infuriated. To encourage Quizlet to undo this callous action, I would kindly ask you, dear reader, to boycott it. I will not offer my eyes to the ads of Quizlet.com, and neither should you, when they only offer a limited service. Of course, I am not insinuating any legal abuse of power, but simply sharing my experience, and asking others to take action on it. Therefore, I am simply exercising my right to freedom of speech under Article 10 of the Human Rights Act 1998 in the UK. If you have got this far, thank you. I wish you all the best with any revision or learning you wish to undertake, but urge to not to do so with Quizlet.

Je zou maar een app zo hard opfucken. Wie de fak heeft dit bedacht. Lekker weer jongeren uitbuiten alsof ze al niet genoeg voor dingen moeten betalen.... Kap er dan gewoon maar mee.

Quizlet put all of its useful features behind an unnecessary paywall. They didn't make any upgrades, there is nothing new that is worth paying for, they are just taking resources away from students. There are alternatives like quizizz, so DO NOT give these people a single cent!

I got a test tomorrow and I was relying on quizlet to you know function, but i was gravely mistaken the one and only relevent feature on the app is no stuck behind a pay wall. I am now moving all of my sets over to cramless. shameful

i hate quizzlet guys just use quizz this is the worst a plus and a paywall seriously its the worst plus there is not a lot of stuff for a paywall seriously no more kahhot and quizz is way better also dumb animal teams >:( its soo repetidive

I've used quizlet since middle school (2008) and loved using it for college until they put up a paywall. It's absolutely disappointing and essentially useless now. The reason it was so successful is because it offered a study resource that was free and easy to use. Majority of kids and college students do not have money to spare. There are other alternatives like ANKI that are free and almost the same.

I am so disappointed to see all the free features that existed before are now behind a paywall! I used to use Quizlet a lot to learn vocabulary in foreign languages and now it’s just impossible because you have to pay for the « learn » feature. So I found a nice FREE alternative if anyone needs it: it’s called ANKI and it’s prefect to make flashcards FOR FREE.
