Almost all services have become paywalled. Additionally, many of these, now premium - or even "premium unlimited", have suffered from a loss in overall quality. Considering the increased price this feels very unreasonable. Plus some other QOL issues, but the recent-ish subscription craze has certainly left its mark here.

I used the free version to try one of the practice tests before deciding whether to purchase. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't very good. The platform was extremely buggy. The 170-question practice test repeated the same questions over and over. I saw some of the same questions close to a dozen times, which made the test feel incomplete and unrealistic. The multiple-choice questions were poorly designed. In many cases, only one answer even related to the question. For example, a math story problem asking for a numerical answer would have one option with a number, while the other three choices were unrelated building code topics. There was no real testing of knowledge because the correct answer was obvious. Based on my experience with the free practice test, I wouldn't feel confident paying for the full version unless the question bank and quality control are significantly improved.

I cancelled my subscription while still using the free version. Now I am still being charged and cannot find any billing/member subscription options on my profile (as I already cancelled it obviously). I cannot contact them as the form keeps jumping back and saying I need to confirm my email address...which I already did. No contact details to find other can a chatbot or form to fill which end up like mentioned before.

Have been using the website for a decade (imagine the amount of content I have accumulated on the site!) - my account was deactivated overnight without any explanation. When I submitted a ticket for customer support, all that I received was an automated email saying my account was in violation of community terms and rules. I have never used anyone else's materials - EVERY set was created from scratch by me. When I followed up asking for a clarification of the specific rules I was in violation of, ZERO communication then! Now I have an active paid subscription with the company that I can't use. No refund. No explanation whatsoever. A company with no transparency. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. Please avoid!

Avoid at all cost. These people charge you, even after canceling your free trial. They just have bots for their support. You will not get any refund back either.

More than two years ago, I subscribed to the Quizlet service. In the past year, I never used Quizlet and, on multiple accounts, attempted to cancel my subscription. Nevertheless, my account continues to be billed $8.82 per month. The Quizlet interface does not allow a clear and unambiguous option to cancel the recurring charges. My multiple attempts to reach customer service were unsuccessful - I am receiving an automated e-mail from Quizlet support bot that contains the following statement: "While I was able to find the Quizlet account associated with the email address you’re writing in from, it looks like this account is currently using the free version of Quizlet and does not have an active subscription. " I consider this handling of my case - hidden charges as well as inability to cancel my subscription - a blatant example of fraudulent activity on the part of Quizlet. I had no other way to reach them but to submit BBB complaint. The Federal Trade Commission fraud complaint line and the Washington State Attorney General's Office are the obvious next steps.

Be very careful interacting with this company. They say the offer a free trial of 7 days but in the end when you fill your payment details they will just charge you and say you did not read carefully. The website is obviously designed to stimulate this misunderstanding, so they are earning from people that think they are just using a free trial
