This is a beautiful helmet first off, you will not be disappointed. My only complaints are that the stitching on the inside of the padding started to unthread which was an inconvenience, the built in audio system is good but could use a little bit more bass, and the helmets also run small. I ordered my helmet in medium going off the sizing chart & my usual size and it fits tight. Not uncomfortable for me but nonetheless it is tight. Other that that I am more than pleased with my purchase. I look forward to seeing how quin improves their helmets in the future.

Very nice looking helmet with great tech features. HOWEVER!!! in all caps and 3 exclamation points; be aware of their not so usual return exchange policy! They may ship it free BUT IF you return it for any reason even if didn’t fit using Quin’s own size chart you must pay the return shipping which for me using UPS was $47.00. Further, if you want a refund you will be charged for the original free shipping to you as well, a $45.00 fee. So to just try the helmet on and it doesn’t fit your head it will cost you $90.00+ not including your time and hoop jumping. Unheard of policy in this industry! It’s giving would be Quin Helmet owners trouble as well as Quintessential Designs the owner of the made in China, not Texas, Quin Helmet. Beware! They do not point this out prior to sale. China made and nasty penalty for returns and exchanges.

Great service and Good friendly communication. As si had to exchange for a larger size. Helmet is beautiful; mine has the red lining white stitching contrast. Comfortable. Wished they offer you the option for the latch buckle European style if you so desired. Bluetooth works flawlessly and connects every time. Speaker are loud more so than my other helmets with other brands of BT but once you get going these open face helmets aren’t design to listen to music at all. It’s been rather cool in florida these days so cannot comment on ventilation so far. Overall very happy with my purchase.

I love the Quin Ghost helmet for the most part. Its light, fits well, looks great and has amazing tech built into it. Overall the fit, finish and build quality is there. But, there are few issues keeping it from being my go-to helmet. First, the bluetooth functionality is really nice. Easy to pair and the controls are very user friendly. The speakers work well, but are much quieter than other bluetooth units I own. It works fine, just not much volume. Also wish it would function as a rider to rider intercom. Second is the wind noise. This is a loud helmet. It has great venting, but even with all the vents closed, lots of air rushes in and around the inside of the helmet. There are large gaps on the top left and right side of the face shield (when fully closed) That lets lots of air in, accounting for much of the wind noise. It's not a winter helmet for sure. Again, I really like the helmet and hope to never have to use the crash tech that's built in. And I will use it during the summer months (with earplugs), But for now it will be my secondary helmet. If they would fix some of the noise issues and improve the speakers, it would get a 5 star review. They almost hit the mark, but just not quite there yet.

Only rating one star just because not being flexible with customers, especially during these times. Purchased helmets early to make sure they arrived for a 50th bday based on all the shipping delay issues during the holidays. When a family member obtained COVID, I was not able to give my man the helmet and we delayed his bday surprise (a scooter and your helmets). He did not like the helmet design and two tone colors, as well as the size did not fit even though his head was right on the boarder of the size L sizing. I submitted an RMA and was denied return of the helmets. It is just disappointing that a 14 day exchange is set when a large majority of any companies have at least a 60 day return program during the holiday season. For the benefit of others down the road, please consider this for your future customers during holiday timeframes so they don't lose a tone of money like I did because I didn't meat your 14 day RMA timeline. I personally loved your helmets and thought he would for his 50th and was so disappointed that he didn't like the look of them. I understand that policy is policy and am only rating it a 1 so that you will consider the adjustment of this policy for others down the road.

First need to start with the primary reason for a helmet purchase. Protection, comfort, visibility and last and not so important, looks. My Quin past those tests with flying colors. The helmet is comfortable (measure correctly for size) and provides great visibility, I do also love the retro design and look. Perfect Helmet. Now the not so good. The sound quality in this helmet is the worst I've ever encountered. Far more tinny than I was expecting, no bass what so ever. I have 3 helmets that have speakers in them, a couple of old Harley Set ups with the "user install" speaker and mic set up. The only problem with those is the ear pads are intrusive as they are not built into the helmet. My Shoei NeoTec 2 set up, built right into the helmet is very good sound quality and comfortable. Finally, why no intercom feature. My partner and I ride together all the time and we have grown very use to the intercom feature in the Shoei and HD set up. She wants a Quin Nero also but between the sound and no intercom it's a non-starter. Understand the price point of the helmet probably doesn't allow for better sound quality, but I think a "premium sound with intercom" upgrade that maybe adds $50 to $75 to the helmet might be worth a shot. Then I guarantee you another Quin would be on order and we'd both be cruising down the road enjoying the comfort, visibility and "sound" of the Quin.

I got my helmet, the ghost umbra carbon fiber in one day.... Awesome!!!! Then I ordered the smoked out visor, put it on and looks terrific... Lightweight and comfortable... Customer for life right here.... Thanks.... Keep up the amazing work...

The helmet performs as advertised. The speed of delivery was very impressive.
