0/10 stars. This is the worst company you could truly book through. I booked my move through Safe Ship who contracted out to Quick Shift. This has been the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. Long review so be prepared. I was told a 2 day pick up window, by customer service they said usually they pick up items that first day but the second is just incase if delays occur. I get a phone call on the first pick up day that it’d be on the second pick up day between 2-5pm. On pick up I don’t get a phone call/text till about 3:30pm stating my pick up window will be later. The driver calls me and states it’ll be around 6:30pm. At 6:30pm he calls me again stating they’re done with a job but need to grab dinner so it won’t be until 7pm or maybe around then. The driver comes to pick up my items and I pay a portion of the leftover balance via cash. They don’t take credit card, just cash, Venmo, or Zelle. This should’ve also been a red flag for me. Safe Ship was awful on communication and information (their review will be on their site.) I was told by both Safe Ship and Quick Shift 2-12 day delivery window. My first available delivery window was August 17th. It is September 6th and still no delivery. READ THE FINE PRINT, THEY LIE!!!! I’ve had well over 20 phone calls. My items were loaded on the semi-truck August 27th from Nevada and I was told delivery window would be 2-5 days including weekends. So Saturday August 29th to Tuesday September 1st I should get my delivery. They told me I’d get a 24 hour notice with a time frame for delivery and a 1 hour notice from the driver. On Monday August 31st I call for an update. They share the driver is in Minnesota and there’s no way that he’d get here by Tuesday and that delivery would be some time this week for sure. I call Wednesday and they can’t get ahold of the driver? Don’t know his location? Don’t know his route? Nothing. I’m left with no update. Thursday comes and now I’m upset, because not many days are left for the week and 0 update. I’m told that potentially the driver could come in the evening but Friday he can come between 8-12p. I had to scramble to look for someone to help me as I had my first day on the job, I asked if they could potentially do it after 3pm and they said no so I started calling everyone I know to help me out. I find someone to help only for Quick Shift to call me and say “Well we know you needed it after 3pm so how about we deliver it on Sunday, September 6th.” I tell them I found someone to be there so really no I’d like my delivery on Friday like I was told it would be. Only to find out that was never going to happen because their driver went to North Dakota now. I’m also told I have a leftover balance of $800 which is correct because I paid the other half at pick up. They swear up and down it’ll be Sunday September 6th. I get a phone call on September 5th stating my delivery will be on the 6th between 12-5pm and the driver will call me an hour before. Then they proceed to tell me I have balance now of $1600 which I cleared up ASAP because they didn’t update it in their system. They also asked me to not pay cash and wanted Zelle or Venmo - maybe they don’t trust their drivers? Not sure but I told them cash was the form of payment I’m going with. I get a phone call at 1pm on September 6th “Mam I know you’re going to be upset but my delivery driver has a big delivery and is unable to make it to your location until late tonight therefore he will be there tomorrow on September 7th.” Between Miracle, Abel, Hamza and any other employee who works for them - it’s all a scam. Miscommunication, 0 transparency, and honestly I don’t even know if I’ll get my belongings. It is 100+ degrees and with my items now sitting in a trailer driving all across the US I’m sure many items are damaged. I would NEVER book through them again and honestly this company should be shut down. I don’t know how they have 1 good review. I’d also like to add I received a document from them before they even picked up my items stating the customer has made a “positive review.” 1 word: SCAM.
