Out for your money
This company charged $150 to have a nurse verify my contact information. The video-appointment lasted less than three minutes and we never discussed anything relating to my use of medical marihuana. The charged amount DOES NOT include the $100 State fee to process the new card even though on their website it says: "Includes State Paperwork Fee. Our prices include the State Paperwork Fee that other doctors charge for separately. Fees that a patient must pay directly to the government must be paid by the patient." Very misleading wording. When I called to try and talk to someone about it, they kept on giving me the runaround. On their website it also says that the $150 fee is for a CONSULTATION with a health professional, when I brought it up they simply told me that I was raising a valid point and they would call me back. Needless to say, they never did. A Better Business Bureau investigation has been started and a formal complaint has been issued with the State of Connecticut. PS. I received several replies from QuickMedCards stating: " Our medical providers were paid because they have the credentials and experience to certify you to be able to get your card from the state." Tryin to spin my complaint and ignoring the main issue which is that NO ONE asked me any questions whatsoever in reference to my marihuana use. "The Nurse" only verified my contact information (name, phone, address & email) and the call was over and done with. So, again, what "service" did I pay for? Having someone verify my identity is hardly a service and definitely not one worth $150. HONESTY & TRANSPARENCY PLEASE!! PS2. Another reply you can see below stating: "You have signed the agreement before making the appointment." - Precisely!!! I signed an agreement to RECEIVE A MEDICAL CONSULTATION and NOT an identity verification service. Own up!!

We are sorry to hear that you didn't receive the desired outcome you are expecting. Just to clarify, that our medical providers do process the State paperwork for free and that includes filling out your form (or your certification) that you'll be needing to submit to the state. Any fees from the state shall be paid by the patient. Our medical providers were paid because they have the credentials and experience to certify you to be able to get your card from the state. We have a lot of patients who have successfully processed their cards from the time they got their certification. If you have concerns with the process you may also visit the state website. We are open to work with the business bureau. You have signed the agreement before making the appointment. We have catered with thousands of patients already. With that being said, we have a process that is acceptable to all the states we cater.
