battery is always empty upgrades are failing on some devices; iOS on tablet did not work life streeming to garmin was not pairing so Im not using it anymore which is a pitty

My Quarq powermeter was installed on my new Cervelo P5 late in 2016. From the beginning it had issues with calibration and "eating" batteries, which would last less than a month. Finally it failed during an IM 70.3 race. I took it back to the shop where I bought it for service per the warranty. Their service was great. They gave me a "loaner" while my PM was in the shop but unfortunately it took 2 months to get my PM back from Quarq. It's worked fine since but the initial experience was less than stellar.
