Excellent experience

The entire Quark team was fantastic from Colin the Expedition leader and his team, to the kitchen staff - the bar staff - and the housekeeping team. The events each day were changed according to the weather and the overall experience of Greenland was wonderful.

Great experience despite the weather that was not always optimal! I recommand strongly! The guides are amazing and very good at giving lectures and presentations on so many topics related to the voyage! The ship is top! The helicopter on the ship! Just wow!

It was our first time on Quark and also Greenland and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience! The expedition leader Colin and his team of experienced and knowledgeable guides made the trip truly memorable. The hospitality crew was warm and friendly and tried to meet our needs.

I appreciated everything, especially the excursions in Zodiac. I was very glad to listen to the conferences and explications given by your fantastic scientists. We could feel like a reals polars explorers! Of course, the kitchen was fantastic also! Thank you for everything.

Quark Expeditions went the extra mile to make our trip a truly memorable one. We had amazing encounters with wildlife that simply wouldn’t have happened but for the determined and calculated plans made by the expedition crew. The junior suites were spacious and very comfortable and the hotel staff were brilliant. Highly recommended!

Organisation across the board was excellent and not intrusive. Information was delivered in a very accessible way. When part of the trip proved too difficult to proceed, this was rolled out to us all in such a way that we became part of the solution - very smart. All of the people we interacted with on staff were helpful friendly and good at their individual "jobs". I loved every bit of the trip (except for the head cold I brought home to Australia) and have no negative comments to pass on.

The Ocean Explorer is a beautiful ship, our cabin was spacious and very comfortable . The expedition leader and team went to great lengths to give us the best experiences possible, taking into consideration our safety, the weather and the wildlife. We were fortunate to view a Polar Bear up close but given the new regulations most sightings are so distant it is difficult to observe them, even with a scope.
