This trip goes beyond superlatives! Antarctica is surreal, ever changing and amazing! Photos do not do it justice. And the company to go with is unquestionably Quark. Especially on their purpose built Ultramarine. You can even see Antarctica from the sky in their helicopter ride which is included in the price! Every single member of staff gave 110%!. They are so unbelievably friendly, professional, knowledgeable and multi-talented. Even when things went wrong ( such as a transport strike ie planes etc in Argentina), they were calm, helpful and kept up everyone's spirits. I would give more stars if I could. Kudos to Jake and Captain Yuri!

So well organised from beginning to end. We certainly saw hundreds and thousands of penguins as well as all the other wildlife. I didn't expect to learn so much about Shackleton - a real bonus. The staff were all wonderful especially the specialists who gave interesting, informative and sometimes very amusing presentations. All the guides were so knowledgeable and helpful. Every effort was made to give us the maximum number of cruise/on shore experiences changing locations when necessary - can't believe how much we saw. Staff were particularly helpful loading and unloading the Zodiacs, The ship was fabulous and the food amazing but so much it was impossible to try it all.

It was an amazing experience. The baseline accommodation is great. Upgrade for wants, but all your needs will be met at every accommodation level. From start to finish, communication was clear and helpful. Every day at sea was informative and every day in Antarctica was breathtaking and an unbelievable experience. I don’t know how to describe all that we saw and experienced. This is an adventure that has to be lived and our expedition leader consistently put us in a position for new experiences and interactions with Antarctic wildlife. 11/10. Beyond the expedition, the crew and staff are so amazing and welcoming. Always there to serve you and learning your name and likes and just providing great service.

This trip was top-notch in all respects. The expedition team, all crew and staff, food, facilities, excursions- nothing could be better. I was part of the sea kayak programme which was absolutely brilliant. Our guides, Mackerel and Squid, were amazing. Helpful, knowledgeable, kind with loads of paddling and polar experience, we shared so many wonderful moments on the water. Sarah Zaubi, expedition leader, was outstanding in every respect. Planning and adapting to give us the most out of every day, always with good humour and a ready smile. This permeated throughout the entire expedition team. Their knowledge of and enthusiasm for their areas of expertise, plus all things polar, was infectious. The overall feeling of the three week trip was that we, guests and crew, became a family. Sharing a great trip and connecting with each other has made this an absolute lifetime highlight.

I can't say enough good about our expedition. The landscape is spectacular, the landings and zodiac cruises so much fun. The organization of everything was superb, the expedition team members were so knowledgeable and fun, the food was lovely, and so on. We would go again in a heartbeat! (And we were lucky - the Drake was a lake in one direction, and only mildly exciting coming back.)

There are only views that I can't see unless I go to Antarctica and South Georgia. I think the experiences, scenery, feelings, and encounters during the trip have all become the things of our lives. I'm really glad I went.
