I had a great time on the World Explorer with Quark during my trip to the Antarctic Peninsula. Everything on board was well organised from the zodiac trips, to zodiac landings, to the issued muck boots and jackets (which we got to keep as well). Also a big thanks to the restaurant staff, especially our waiters Franklin and Carlos ! Thanks also for the housekeeping staff who kept our rooms clean and always replenished our water. All in all a great trip !

EPIC doesn't even begin to describe our adventure with Quark. Truly one of the best experiences we've had!! From the crossing of The Drake Passage to the two a day zodiac cruises and/or landings while in the Antarctic Peninsula you will continue to be amazed. Educational presentations daily were excellent. The Expedition Team is knowledgeable, fun and go out of their way to ensure you have the best possible experience every time. The ship was comfortable and very clean. The cabins were roomy enough (we had a veranda balcony) and our Housekeeping Attendant was incredible! The F&B staff were awesome! Quark knows how to do Expeditions right!!! Can't wait to do the Arctic next!!

Quark and its team members went above and beyond to ensure our safe expedition, especially when we got delayed due to a 24-hr Argentinian strike. Every team member was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the voyage as well, it makes me excited to go back and experience it all again!

Great experience! Extremely well ran team, both hotel and expedition crew. We lost one day in Antarctica due to strike in Buenos Aires and most of the weather in Antarctica wasn’t ideal, but the team really made up for it and we didn’t feel that we missed on anything. Kudos to the team for handling everything so well and still gave us a trip of a lifetime!

Antartica is majestic and fascinating. But it truly is the Quark team that makes this expedition experience so fantastic. Smart, kind, well trained professional people at all levels of the organization make every day a new safe, exhilarating adventure. Go to the White Continent, and go with Quark. You will never forget it.

We have just left Ultramarine after an amazing 9 days. The team are exceptional and made a holiday of a life time truly amazing. We were delayed due to a strike in Argentina. Quark put us up in a lovely hotel and the Quark land team kept us fully informed. We eventually arrived on the Ultramarine 36 hours late. We had a standing ovation from the previous guests at the airport ( which was emotional and exceptional) When we arrived on the Ultramarine we had the evacuation practice and a welcome from Darren Hotel manager and Jake ( Expedition leader) immediately so we could set sail. We were then given our first meal at 1am which was delicious. Darren said at his talk that there was one person he needed to talk to, he said he would find them rather than single them out. I was surprised to be stopped by Darren on my way out of the Ambassador theatre. He wanted to reassure me that all latex gloves had been removed off the Ultramarine prior to this voyage. My health questionnaire had been read and acted upon, I have a latex allergy. He had also looked at my passport and was able to identify me without letting any other guest know. Our days were busy as the Quark Expedition team ensured that our lost day due to the Argentina strike didnt impact on our Antarctica adventure. Nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. The weather was a challenge and Jake and the Captain had to work hard to plan our stops to explore. Only 2 of the 9 stops of the initial plan were used. The zodiac trips were fantastic and we were so lucky to see what Antarctica had to offer up close. The helicopter flights were all on the same day. We were lucky to have one day out of our 4 that was sunny and calm. The pilots flew for 7 hours to ensure that we all got a flight. The Quark Expedition team were all so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The ships staff were also friendly and the food was amazing. All dietary requirements were covered and nothing was too much trouble. If your looking for an Antarctica adventure I highly recommend Quark
