This was our third polar cruise with Quark, second to the Arctic. Each experience has been so good that we booked the next before leaving the ship. Quark have terrific staff, informed and informative expedition lecturers and great excursion management. The ships (Ultramarine and Ocean Explorer) are just the right size to feel recognised by the team and not overwhelmed by too many people around you, while being able to have quiet time without feeling you are shunning others.

All of the ship’s crews (engineering, technical, hospitality, and expedition) were very professional and great! We look to another trip with Quark in a few weeks time.

the boat was very comfortable and the hotel staff charming and helpful. the food was amazing, something for all tastes. Expedition team was knowledable, friendly and personable. Stops along the way were well thought out. Minimal cancellations due to weather gave the full experience to include walrus and polar bear and black bear.

The Ultramarine may be the best polar expedition ship on the planet. Well appointed and extremely functional, it was the perfect base to experience the Arctic. We were fortunate to have an amazing expedition team that took us to breathtaking locations filled with untouched wilderness and majestic wildlife. What an amazing trip!

The places we visited were very remote and not a lot of person can have access to it. The wildlife we saw was amazing ! 2 polar bears, walrusses, whales,black bears etc… the Quark team help guests to live their dreams to see arctic and it becomes an easy trip with them.

Great cruise. Enjoyed the expeditions and presentations. Met some lovely people. The staff and crew were very good.

We had a wonderful trip with Quark the ship and group size was perfect. Things were so well organized you could be as busy or not busy as you wanted . The activities were at all levels of agility which was nice. Dining and lectures amazing. I would do this trip again.

The most incredible trip of a lifetime… fantastic locations, amenities, & crew couldn’t fault a thing! I’m looking forward to my next adventure with Quark!!!
