I wish I could give less then a 1 star grade. My experience with this company has me wondering how they are still in business. Ordered a motor that was listed at $1200 with 67,000 miles on it + additional $200 because it delivered to residential area had the engine installed oil burned right out of the tailpipes because it was a bad motor. Reviewed my receipt that has no mileage on it they said they could not guarantee the mileage on the motor. Had to pay a $349 return fee plus had to pay to have it delivered back to them for a list of over $600 plus having it installed so I’m negative $1800 waiting on money back and just had to junk the car 🤦‍♂️

Worst company ever. Do not buy from them. Sent wrong engine. It was trashed by the way. Took several calls to get a bill of laden to return it. Was hung up on 3 times. Ordered in sept 18. Finally returned in nov 18 .it’s Apr 2019 and still now refund. Called again today was told by Scott or joe or somebody that didn’t hang up or was extra rude for once that they just got the engine back, BS! . I tracked it . Took 9 days once picked up. I was told that the refund is being processed now and that they didn’t need any info from me.

Do NOT trust this company!!!! their advertising sounds great!!!! They have zero work ethic, Customer service is a joke. They obviously DO NOT hire quality personnel, who are trained and know what they are doing. I bought a motor and even the Ford service department cant make it run. When you call the service manager who sounds like he is 12 only has the ability to question how the install was completed rather than offer any input that may help. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY. Next engine I do will come from LKQ

Quality Used Engines is a bull S_it company. I was sent the the wrong motor. My invoice clearly stated the motor for my vehicle. The company refused to pay to have the motor returned. I paid. The company charged me a restocking fee and refused to send me the correct motor. Customer service was no help. They are rude and unprofessional. I referred my complaint to the Wi. Dept. of Justice. I'm currently in a class action law suit.

Bought a used engine for our son’s 1996 Kia Sportage and were told it had less than 70k miles. Before putting it in, I replaced some sensors and gaskets just to lessen the possibility of issues. I took off the oil pan to replace the gasket and found thick sludge like I’ve never seen in an engine and I’ve been working on them for 40+ years. The oil pump pickup screen was clogged with sludge and it was likely the engine hadn’t gotten oil in a long time. I called for a refund and like many of the others here, was told many things after 10+ calls and emails. First, it was we will send you a bill of lading to ship it back. When it didn’t come, I was told it was due to shipping dept being backlogged. I could never speak to anyone higher than Scott, the warranty manager. Sales dept kept transferring me to him when I would specify I wanted to speak with the operations manager or general manager. Happy to join any class action or other lawsuit against these pathetic individuals.

If I could put something less than a one star, I would. I bought an engine for a 2010 Camry. The company claimed it had a little over 14,000 miles. After the engine was placed in my car, I drove it about 100 miles. A check engine light came on, so I took the car to a mechanic. There was no oil in the engine. The oil never went into the engine; it blew out of the tailpipe. My mechanic went over the engine with a fine tooth comb, and he said that the engine had more miles on it than reported and the piston and a number of other parts were bad. I immediately called this company and was told that they would send me info on how to return the engine for a refund after I sent in the paperwork from my mechanic. My mechanic sent in the paperwork yet I never heard anything. I emailed five times and never received a response. My mechanic re-faxed the paperwork and I called yet again. Now the company claims that they never received the paperwork and they can't give me a refund because it's over 30 days now. NEVER, EVER buy from this company. They are crooks!

bought engine for 2012 chevy cruze took a month to get came nasty was suppose to be 41,000 mile motor had blown head gasket took them another month to respond about if it would be warrantied finally received another engine month later no idea how many miles is on it put it in had to change every bolt on part came out of something else runs good thankful for that they refunded half the labor hour at 50 an hour this place could be a great resource if they got thear head out of thear butt and answered the phone i we know some times there are problems but not to the extent of dealing with these jokers its lucky we had a customer that was reasonable and understandable i wouldn't advise anyone to buy from these these jokers if Thanks H&H Cycle

I have bought two engines from Quality Used Engines. The first engine was in good shape. The second engine had a crushed oil pan before it was put on the pallet. the warranty doesn't cover accessories. Who would think that an oil pan was an accessory part? I payed a $1,000 for an engine and I expected the parts that came with it to be warrantied and in good shape, but this is not the case. Also trying to get a hold of the warranty department I was on hold for an hour before I hung up and called back the sales department for them to tell me that they closed at 5 pm and you must have not heard the message correctly. There was no message.Bad customer service. I will never do business with them ever again.
