I purchased from Qamar because I genuinely wanted to support a business that claimed to donate a portion of its proceeds to help Palestinians. I was happy to pay a premium price because I believed I was supporting an important cause while also receiving a quality product. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed when my order arrived. The jewelry did not match the level of quality I expected based on the photos and descriptions on the website. It looked and felt much cheaper than anticipated, and I later found very similar items being sold on other websites for a fraction of the price. What was even more disappointing was learning that returns require customers to pay for international shipping to an Asia-based warehouse, along with a deduction from the refund amount. Had I known this beforehand, I would have thought twice before placing my order. I don’t regret wanting to support Palestinians, but I do regret making this purchase. I hope Qamar improves its transparency regarding product quality, pricing, and return policies so that future customers can make a more informed decision.

Jewelry pieces arrived in a timely fashion, as beautiful as pictured. I’ve been wearing them for the past week in pools, oceans, and showers, and they hold up just as advertised.

Very poor quality jewellery. Would never buy again. Plz don't order. It's a scam!

I thought I had reviewed this company earlier, I cannot find the review to amend it so I will start again. Let me begin, I have been making jewellery for years and I know a little about where beads, chain and charms come from, the quality and how much they cost. Second, this company is not owned or run by Palestinians. There is no Amira, just four white people and one Asian person who are exploiting Palestine and faith for profit. I was very much attracted by the meals for Palestine. I thought the site was Palestinian. Even though Qamar have got a much slicker website now, and have taken some advice I actually gave them it is not Palestinian and at that time wasn't donating meals to Palestine, They claimed to be donating to the World Food Programme which provides food worldwide which means it did not necessarily go to Palestine. There was no evidence that any money was actually being paid. The website was totally lacking in transparancy. I make quite complex jewellery so the simple Palestinian and Faith Jewellery on the site appealed to me. I didn't expect great jewellery - just functional. The first delivery was missing an item. After much discussion I finally got the third item. The second delivery did arrive but the quality of the jewellery was very poor. Tatty is what I would describe those two items. I liked one item I thought looked of a better quality so I took the risk - a stupid one - this was the Isabella necklace which turned out to be a horrible glass pendant with off-line pave stones. This was hooked to a simple jump ring. This is clear on the new site but it wasn't on the old one. This necklace went missing and another back and forth effort was needed to get it. Theis so awful I will give it to my local charity shop who may make a few pennies from it. I emailed Qamar and told them what I thought of it but that I couldn't bother to have to debate with them over a refund I was entitled to under the law relating to on-line purchases. Most of Qamar's bits and pieces can be found on the various Chinese market places - Temu, Ali Express, etc. That is where I buy my beads. I could make the Watermelon earrings for about £1. The Palestine bracelet for a few pence. Nothing on that site would cost more than £5 at a push, and that is retail price not wholesale. Already chain has come apart on two necklaces and a charm has fallen off another. The chain I got is not tarnish proof as it is already dulling. I just bought a simple Palestinian map pendant from Holy Land Dates for a fraction of the price and I know that it is Palestinian, In summary, Qamar isn't a scam, it just isn't what it claims to be and it is make big profits out of gullible people which includes me I suppose given that I gave them a second chance after one mismanaged transaction. That I wasted £39 on the Isabella necklace is all my own fault but all the way I was exchanging emails with the non-existent Amira. It was only after I did some on-line searching did I realise who I was dealing with. I will pay the extra to buy from NOMINAL from now on. This site is a poor copy of a Palestinian owned company in the US called NOMINAL which does have beautiful Palestinian and Faith jewellery and provides meals to Palestine via a registered trust and with total transparency. Although one gets hit with taxes and postal costs, it is worth it for the quality. I think the best way to describe my experience with Qamar would have been to put on here a copy of the last email I wrote to them but unfortunately I can't seem to get it to paste onto here. I was far to patient with them thinking they were a group of Palestinians trying to get a business going and not doing very well with it. I gave them a lot of advice about what they needed to get together (from my own experience) in the series of emails I wrote to them. But although they have cleaned up a lot of things - they now claim to be donating directly as I told them the needed to do, the exploitation of Palestine and Faith still angers me and the lack of transparency is still there.

Jewelry came quickly and is good quality for the price paid. And it’s for a good cause!

I sent a bracelet stack to my niece who was graduating in Dubai. I’m in the U.S., but everything ran smoothly- the gift arrived and my niece really appreciated not only the bracelets but the charity the company participates in. I can’t speak for the quality yet but I’ll be purchasing something for myself very soon and will be back. Support was on cue and the purchase experience was easy. Delivery was maybe 8 days which totally worked for me.

Buying from Qamar was an easy decision when every order contributes meals to families in need in Palestine. Each piece I received was both crafted and packaged beautifully. I also truly appreciated the email updates of how things were going with the delivery. They felt so personal. I can’t wait to shop for my next piece from here.
