Thanks for nothing.
TL/DR: Terrible service. Provider was totally unresponsive for four days. While on vacation, I developed a flare up of inflammatory arthritis. I submitted a request for a short course of corticosteroids as that has relieved such attacks in the past. PushHealth has a separate webpage which specifically states and advertises that their providers will prescribe corticosteroids. Because it was the weekend, I was out of state in an unfamiliar area, and Covid, I wanted to avoid going to urgent care. I submitted the request very early on Sunday morning. An hour later the assigned provider, Simeon O., asked me a follow up question on when was the last time I had been prescribed a steroid course. I responded to her quickly that I couldn't recall the exact date, but it had been approximately a year. I also submitted a photo of my swollen joint. Then I waited. And waited. I sent a follow up message 12 hours later with another picture of the joint (now more swollen) and said things were worsening. Monday passed with no response or activity. On Tuesday night, I sent a message. By Wednesday morning, my joint had reached the point I had no choice but to go to urgent care. Push says providers typically respond within 24 hours. As of Wednesday morning, I had received I no response. I understand if the provider felt she could not approve the request for whatever reason or wanted to suggest a different treatment (that is obviously her right as she has to do what's in her medical judgment), but she should have said that promptly. She should not have left me in limbo for days. I will never use this service again. I don't recommend this service AT ALL unless your situation is such that you can wait a week to have a provider approve or deny your request. On the positive end, they did refund my money promptly. However, the provider never apologized for leaving me in limbo. (If she had, I would have been willing to give Push another try.)
