Charity is a terrific and amazing person to work with! It was so much fun interning for her publishing company and helping her get her books to more readers. I learned a lot about marketing. I have no complaints about Charity or Purple Diamond Press! It was a great internship!

Charity is the best of the best to work with. As a published professional author now, I am so glad I chose Purple Diamond as my publisher to work with. They help keep me organized, on task, and have clear communication. It is wonderful having the publishing side needs taken care of so I can focus on my creative writing.

I am so happy that I submitted my book to Purple Diamond Press, Inc. Charity Harris has made this experience so smooth and enjoyable. She was very encouraging and helpful from submission to release date. Purple Diamond Press’ mission is to publish books that make a difference and I am so proud to be apart of that.

Purple Diamond Press is an amazing Publisher to work for. I learned so much about what goes into the publishing process and marketing books during my internship. Their stories about kindness and uniqueness are so important in todays world and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to help share them with others.

My marketing internship at Purple Diamond Press was an incredibly rewarding experience. I was given tons of creative freedom to create content for Instagram and Tik Tok. I gained hands-on experience in social media management, research, Graphic Design, and book selling at vendor markets. One of the most valuable aspects of this internship was the opportunity to work closely with Charity, who has taught me so much about the publishing industry. Everything about the internship was very organized and clear.

Charity communicated everything very well. All the tasks were organized on Monday.com which I loved. I also loved that she gave us creative freedom when it came to content creation.

C.M. Harris and Purple Diamond Press are truly making a mark on the world of children’s literature. Through her thoughtful and inclusive storytelling, Harris is not only entertaining young readers but also empowering them with important lessons on kindness, perseverance, and self-acceptance. Her debut book, What If We Were All The Same!, has already made a significant impact, and it's clear that her commitment to diversity and emotional intelligence in children's books is resonating deeply with parents, educators, and communities. Harris’s work is a beacon of positive change, and I’m excited to see how she continues to shape the future of children’s literature.

I had the pleasure of meeting Charity Harris at the Orange Coast College Children's Book Festival and later reached out to her in regards to an author visit for my preschool class at Mesa Verde Preschool. Both author's, Steffani Najera and Charity Harris of The Weirdots did an author visit and the children LOVED IT! The book was so cute and the illustrations were perfect for children to enjoy and keep them intrigued. The story of being uniquely yourself and making friends was heartwarming and delightful. I loved how the children had so many questions after and shared their favorite characters. They also truly loved the coloring pages and stickers, thank you for that and thank you both for taking the time to visit our school. I hope to have you both back again for future Weirdots tales and other books.
