Called requesting mold testing and remediation for a commercial site. Had to vacate staff after large storm until testing was complete. Arranged staff to meet technician on site. Took almost a week to hear back - after calling several times. Mold testing was never done. Now they say they don't offer it - even though it was the ENTIRE REASON for the service request. This if for the Peoria, IL location. We are currently working with the Birmingham, AL location for the same services, and everything is going great! If you need mold testing and remediation in Illinois, I would HIGHLY recommend finding another company!

This complaint is about PuroClean of Vail Valley and Summit Resorts (Peter Curran). On Jan 5, 2026, I hired PuroClean to dry the crawlspace of my rental property in Grand Junction, CO after discovery of a broken water pipe. When PuroClean first inspected, there were some small puddles on the ground and the wooden structure in the crawlspace was wet. Restoration standards say that saturated wood should be dried in 3–5 days, but PuroClean was on site for 46 days!! In that time, not only did they not dry the structural wood but they created the perfect conditions for mold. Twelve days after they "completed" their work, I discovered that the structure in the crawlspace was still wet, the ground was very muddy, and there was visible mold everywhere. Furthermore, because the ground was wet for so long, the footers holding up the center of the house sank a bit, causing cracks in the interior drywall and torqued door frames. I had to hire a separate mold remediation company for $25K, replace portions of the subfloor, redo the finished floor in half the house, repair and repaint the drywall, and jack the house back up to level. The total damages they caused is about $37K. As if that wasn't enough, in late April PuroClean sent a bill to my insurance company for $36K, backdated to the day they left on Feb 20th. The timing alone raises questions. But the bill itself revealed more — it included line items for mold remediation that were never contracted, never authorized by change orders, and never actually done. Remember, they were hired just to dry the structure. Added to a previous invoice for a new moisture barrier (which they installed over wet ground, creating more of a mold incubator) their total billing comes to $38K!! That's $13K more than the cost of the actual mold remediation! Turns out I have a $5,000 mold limit on my policy, so I'm out a lot of money. I'm not going to just let this go. I've already spent countless hours going back and forth with their attorneys, and I'm now preparing for litigation.

My insurance agent told them to list whatever they could not save on their “unsalvageable” list. Cases of garbage bags, tissues, and paper towels never made the list or were returned from a room that was closed off from the fire in my house. A plastic tool box that was in my garage was returned without tools… power tools from my garage were never returned. What the did pack and return, they removed from whatever they were in to wrap individually (to add fees) then wrap the cases the items were in empty. Home Depot boxes were returned to me 1/8 full (again to add to the bill). The idiots wrapped items such as a milk carton, but couldn’t return pictures in totes (that were not in a room affected by the fire). The best was when they deposited a check with my name on it without my signature ( the state police are handling this) AVOID THIS SCAM COMPANY

Very disappointing experience from start to finish. Communication was inconsistent, updates were delayed, and I often had to follow up multiple times just to get basic information. The work did not meet my expectations, and several issues remained unresolved after the service was completed. What frustrated me most was the lack of accountability when concerns were raised. Instead of addressing the problems directly, responses were slow and unhelpful. Based on my experience, I would not use this service again or recommend it to others.

After mold remediation, there was still debris and dust everywhere. When I raised issues, they responded slowly and didn’t take responsibility for the mess left behind. Disappointed with the quality and follow-up.

If you get panda construction as your rebuild contractor just say absolutely NO and save your time , you will get shit work handed to you on a platter because he doesnt have qualified workers and will rush the job because he wants money and will say your picky because you want a decent professional job . Paint all over your ceilings , crappy paint jobs on walls , shit drywall but the owner loves a rush job . He is also loves yelling at his workers and treating them like trash when they want to do a good job .

Puroclean of strafford county is run by a racist, sexist, unprofessional brat tyson bostrom. He cannot even see a female without saying something sexist and inappropriate about them. He openly supports white supremacists, can’t go five seconds without bragging about his d*ck size, will constantly insult anyone with any liberal beliefs, underpays workers unless their dating his sister and constantly says openly racist and inappropriate things nonstop. They do shoddy work and force it all on one person to do while he gets all the profits.
