I initially had a good experience with PureVoltage. I purchased a 16GB NYC VPS in November 2025, tested it for a month, and then upgraded to a 1-year plan because the VPS performance and service were good.
Unfortunately, my experience changed later.
In March 2026, I ordered another VPS, but after having a PayPal payment issue, I was told they could not approve further orders. My account was then closed without a clear explanation, and later reactivated. I also discovered that my existing VPS had been cancelled even though I never requested cancellation.
The biggest problem was support. I had issues with the root password and Proxmox console. I opened multiple tickets—around 19 tickets in total for one VPS, with roughly 10 related to password/console issues. Several tickets were closed without resolving the problem. Eventually, I managed to reset the password myself.
The Proxmox console still doesn't work for me. I tried different PCs, networks, VPNs, etc., but support repeatedly said it was working on their side. When I asked for further help, I was warned that I could be terminated for “abusing support.”
The VPS itself was good, but **support and ticket handling were very disappointing**. Technical problems can happen with any provider; what matters is how they handle them. In my experience, these issues were not handled well.

Terrible Customer Service from a "Senior Finance Manager"
One terrible interaction with a “Senior Finance Manager” caused my opinion of a company that had initially been excellent to decline very quickly.
PureVoltage offered a great VPS deal: one year of service with solid specifications for $45. I purchased two VPSs. I briefly considered ordering a third, but soon realized that would be unnecessary. Tuck, an excellent Senior Networking Engineer and genuinely helpful customer-service representative, explained that the next available yearly option was a $75 VPS.
Since I already had two VPSs, I asked whether it might be possible to combine them into one VPS under the $75 yearly plan. My wording may have caused some confusion: I asked about transferring “credits,” which apparently was interpreted as a request for a refund. Regardless, the response I received from someone named Mickey, whose title was “Senior Finance Manager,” was unnecessarily rude and condescending:
“That will not be possible. You had the opportunity to purchase rhe 16 GB version earlier, but chose not to. If you would like the 16 GB version, you will need to order it and cancel your existing services. No prorated refund will be provided.”
Telling a paying customer that they had an opportunity to upgrade but “chose not to” is inappropriate and comes across as blaming the customer rather than simply answering the question. This was a straightforward inquiry, and the tone of the response was completely unnecessary.
I replied and pointed out that the response was rude and uncalled for. I also explained that I had originally intended to hold off on leaving a negative Trustpilot review because Tuck had consistently provided excellent service. Unfortunately, the situation escalated from there.
I received two emails stating that my hosting plans would be canceled at the end of their terms in July 2027, despite having approximately ten months of service remaining. Mickey later informed me that PureVoltage had decided to “terminate our relationship” with me based on my behavior. In other words, after I objected to the tone of his emails, I was treated as though I had done something wrong.
I was given the choice of remaining on the services until the end date or accepting a prorated refund. I initially considered staying, however, I ultimately decided that I no longer felt comfortable continuing as a customer as I felt they may sabotage my servers. I then chose the refund option and migrated my services to another provider.
During this process, a person named Jean-Noël chimed in and informed me that Mickey’s behavior was not inappropriate and accused me of threatening staff. I made no threats whatsoever. Expressing that a response was rude and criticizing the way a customer-service issue was handled is not the same thing as making a threat. I would highly suggest the PureVoltage team to take a look at Mr. Webster's definition of what a threat actually is.
Thankfully, Tuck handled the refund process professionally, and the refunds were issued with easy. He was the one consistently positive part of my experience with PureVoltage, and I made that clear throughout all of the emails I sent to PV.
In the end I ultimately mic-dropped on PV by sending them 3 seperate AI platform reviews of Mickey's emails to me. They all concluded that Mickey's responses to me were in-fact rude and condecending and should've been handled better. Especially with his role as a Senior Manager.
PureVoltage started out as a company I was happy to recommend. Unfortunately, one poor interaction and the way management chose to handle my complain changed that completely. The services themselves were excellent, but customers should be aware that the quality of customer service can ultimately ruin the experience. I'd rather pay a bit more for better customer service than have to deal with the above.

Absolutely amazing company and staff
Absolutely amazing company and staff. The entire time I had my server there they were extremely responsive, helpful, friendly, and explained the entire process to me start from finish since I was brand new to Colo. Absolutely recommend to anyone that's looking into getting a server or colo as their prices were hard to beat as well, 10/10.

Trustworthy is the word.
If there is a word I can use to describe them its this: Trustworthy
Datacenters are critical for hosting business, specially service like ours, that depends on high performance and reliability.
Aside from the great performance and stability of the service, they are characterized for 1 thing: no BS tech support.
Every time I came with issues, they simply said the truth about it without sugarcoating it, literally felt like an engineer talking to an engineer. I love this.
Never stop being like this.

Great support
I have three servers hosted through PureVoltage and L1S - two in Dallas, and one in Tampa, with Chicago and New York coming to my infrastructure very soon. I could not be happier with the pricing. The team, specifically Ian, has done an excellent job, and has always presented me with the lowest pricing. Excellent support, and a friendly team!

I have been using PV services for over…
I have been using PV services for over two years now and I'm happy, they are always helpful and the service is reliable, not that you won't have any issues, there is nothing perfect, but when any problem occurs they do their best to solve it and make you feel you matter

Fast Support and Excellent Dedicated Server Performance
I’ve had an amazing experience with PureVoltage. Their support is incredibly fast, whether through live chat or tickets, and they are always understanding and helpful in addressing any concerns.
The dedicated server itself is flawless—everything works perfectly without any issues. It’s rare to find a provider that delivers both excellent performance and outstanding customer support like PureVoltage.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable dedicated server with top-tier support.
