Zoeller pump kit with damaged battery.
Zoeller pump kit with damaged battery. I purchased this kit and a battery. While it arrived promptly and packaged pretty well, the box with the battery (heavy item) was slightly damaged in transit. The battery was not packaged in expanding foam. I emailed pictures of the nick in the battery case and the associated box to Pump Products and received a response the next business day. Talking to them on the phone, I was informed that they would send me a replacement battery. However, I would have to pay for the shipping. I stated that it was damaged in transit (with pictures as proof) and asked why I had to pay anything. Apparently this is their policy even though the transit company is at fault. Poor customer support in my opinion, they should improve their packaging of all boxes. I will not purchase from them again and recommend others do not.
