A smashing local pub. Good selection of tasty high quality food and drinks at reasonable prices. Always enjoy going to this place as we know will get a wonderful meal with excellent service by friendly staff. Well recommended

I meal best forgotten, Mother's Day treat, no stars for the Bay Horse Pub in Burythorpe. Food cold and I mean that, 45 minute wait to take order, it was at best poor, cold, and cold plates. Quality and standard of cooking also, we shall not return, a great pity and waste of time.

The Plough, a very local pub to a relative’s new home, looked like a good place to try. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and quickly seated. We could have ordered at the table but chose to go to the bar to order. We were served by a lovely lady, Sue, who efficiently took our order for both food and drink for five people. Service to the table was a little slow but we were advised of that possibility as it had become quite busy. Our waitress was also really friendly. The food was lovely so, a good find.
