I used prozpay and received payment from my direct client, I withdraws the amount to my paypal and it been more than 10 days I have not received the amount in my paypal and proz support are not responding to telling what is going on, very terrible company avoid them.

It isn't the platform it used to be anymore. It used to be a safe platform for translators; now it's a hunting range for scammers. It used to offer professional translation jobs; now it offers AI junk tasks like any other job board. It used to have humans doing the vetting; now it's done with AI, so many jobs seem like scams or have illegal/lousy rates. It used to have humans moderating the forum; now they're all gone due to AI enshittification, so the forums are infested with spam. Even KudoZ is abandoned, without moderators available since 2023. And the icing on the cake: the "next" new website doesn't comply with the GDPR and exposes users' private data. It has lost all worth.

Two of ProZ’s most valuable tools have been completely undermined. KudoZ has turned into a system driven by favoritism, where votes reflect personal alliances rather than quality, and moderators do nothing except penalize those who report these practices. As for the Blueboard, any negative rating is scrutinized to the extreme, and efforts are even made to prevent it from being published out of sheer clientelism, while LSPs are allowed to pressure translators into providing purchased reviews that artificially boost their scores.

I have worked with Proz so many years now, before also as Online Remote Interpreter through their Boostlingo platform, and believe it or not, I had payment of 3500 dollars accumulated and saved on the platfrom from 2021 which I had forgotten to withdraw it, and not "luckily", but Honestly enough nobody had taken it, the money was safe there for many years, 5 years, and I just withdrew it few days ago July 2026. So, these people really are honest and pay you what you already worked before, even if you have forgotten to withdraw the money for few months, years, you are going to find it again in your account. Only Kudos to such a serious company! As for jobs, they do not offer security for it, it is you and the feedback your clients provide that will increase your rating and requests. For the rest they help only as a network intermediator to connect you with providers-clients.

Very disappointed. I joined Proz 6 months ago as a paying member to be part of their Interpreter pool. I submitted all the necessary documents to them. I am an experienced certified medical interpreter and, I did not receive one single contact for an assignment. Now they have a platform for interpreters called Remoto which looks fancy but doesn't seem any better than the Proz website. There is a pro bono option you can select..sorry but I need to make a living. Paying for the membership was like throwing money directly into the garbage can. Moreover, I received numerous spam emails after joining.

Welcome to the largest network of bottom-feeders and non-professionals in the world. The platform has one good thing, which is uniting the translator community, professional and non-professional alike. Aside for that, it allows for scammers and, even worse, bottom-feeders to proliferate on their pages. I had been a paying member until I realized that the app sucks. This year I reluctantly paid a subscription again as I was encouraged to by someone, but it was a daft, stupid mistake once again. Never again, though. :)

Terrible. I just found out, after wandering for a long while, how to cancel my account by myself. The support is inexistent and the official cancelling process is by sending an email and waiting for them to reply. Don't make the mistake of using this.

It`s very bad! Every time I withdraw my funds I recive 20 dollars less, even though just few months ago it was fine. I`m not even saying about extremly outdated and completely user unfriendly website. Please, just don`t use it. There are much much better options.
