Gave specific description of what type of customers we were looking for. 5 months and $5k later, one solid lead delivered. Very poor return on investment.

Nicholas, we offered additional months of service. We have sent thousands of emails to your target market with creative that we wrote and was approved by you, I am confident based on my 19 years of experience running this company and hundreds of positive client engagements that we have done what we were asked to do, that your market and targeted audience are niche and given time would respond, I also believe that if you ask some of your new prospects how they heard about you they would state via email... I am sorry that you feel we did not do our job, I will share our reporting with you via email and resume the conversation there to see how we can make this right by you. With best, Travis

Unsolicited Form Submissions and Registrar-Confirmed Domain Link
My business received repeated unsolicited promotional form submissions from two different domains — both forwarding to commercialcleanrs.com. These were not emails; they were injected directly into my website’s contact form with no way to unsubscribe.
Here are the exact unsolicited form submissions received:
⸻
Submission #1
Name: Sonia Lewis
Email: sonia at truesparklecleaner.com
Message:
Hi,
I am local and provide service in East Rutherford work for others in the community. I was hoping I could come by and offer a complimentary cleaning bid? I can also do so over email.
Thank you in advance for your response.
With best,

Submission #2
Name: Claire Divas
Email: claire at greenglintjanitorial.com
Message:
I was in the area the other day and wanted to see if you were interested in a no-obligation cleaning quote for your facility?
“Extremely happy with the service and professionalism of this company! Cleaning service is top notch and the customer service is outstanding!” – Dana D.
May I give you more information?

These were unrequested form injections, and the “Respond with stop to optout” line is not a functional opt-out mechanism for website forms. A contact form entry offers no reply channel, no unsubscribe link, and no method to prevent further form submissions of this type.
Because these were repeated unsolicited form submissions, I reported the matter to the domain registrar.
The registrar, 1API GmbH, confirmed that commercialcleanrs.com is registered under Prospectr Marketing’s reseller account, and they forwarded my complaint to Prospectr.
Up to that point, I had never contacted Prospectr directly. After learning they were the reseller, I looked up their number, called, and left a voicemail identifying myself. I did not receive a return call. I also have phone records confirming that the call was made.
To avoid any misunderstanding, here are the documented facts:
• My website received repeated unsolicited form submissions.
• Both originated from domains that forward to commercialcleanrs.com.
• The “opt out” wording in those messages does not apply to website form submissions and provided no functional way to stop them.
• The registrar identified Prospectr Marketing as the reseller associated with the domain involved and forwarded the issue to them for handling.
• I called and left a voicemail; no return call was received, and the call is documented in my phone records.
I am not making any statements about who generated the submissions or about Prospectr’s internal systems.
I am documenting only the unsolicited form submissions, the registrar’s statements, and the steps I took to address the issue.
Based on the circumstances, I do not feel comfortable providing additional personal information beyond what is included here.
This review reflects the unsolicited form submissions, registrar correspondence, and the subsequent process.

Response to Your Review and Opt-Out Request
Dated Nov 20th. We have no record of you calling to opt out, please use the information below to opt out, or reply with "stop"
@TrustPilot his continued harrassment is proven by this thread, please take this review down.
Hello David,
Thank you for your feedback. My father and I have operated this business in Minneapolis, MN, for 18 years. We take compliance seriously and want to ensure you feel heard in this matter.
What we ask from you:
Please simply reply with the domain or email address you believe is reaching you so we can add it to our suppression list.
If you prefer, you may also opt out entirely — we will honour your request promptly.
Our compliance with the CAN‑SPAM Act of 2003:
We operate under the Act’s requirements for commercial email, including providing valid header information, truthful subject lines, identifies advertising messages, and offers clear opt-out mechanisms.
While the Act is focused on email and not necessarily form-submissions, our business uses human contractors (not bots) for outreach, and we maintain suppression lists for domains when an opt-out request is received.
Regarding your specific concerns:
If you believe you received outreach from us or one of our clients, and it was unwanted, please provide the specific domain, website form URL or email address and the time it occurred so that we can investigate and suppress it.
We have records of compaints and request for suppression under your name from 2022, and we re-checked this again, 2 months ago, using the information we had at the time. Because we did not have the specific domain you complained about, we could not identify additional entries to suppress.
When you didn’t provide the domain or website URL in your earlier calls, we lacked the reference point to remove it fully.
Our outreach model is based on business emails, not Gmail address outreach. If you have proof to the contrary, please share it so we can investigate internally and with our provider.
Regarding your assertion that a spambot was used: we do not use spambots or automated submissions. If you have evidence to the contrary, we’ll review it immediately.
In U.S. law, a review is only potentially defamatory if it includes false statements of fact (not simply opinion) and causes reputational or financial harm.
Because you have posted that our firm is engaged in spam operations and “spambots,” we take these claims seriously. However, we stand by our processes and compliance. If you continue to assert false facts, we may have to review our legal options — but our preference is to resolve this directly and respectfully with you.
What we propose:
You reply with the specific domain, web-form URL or email address you're referencing.
We will immediately suppress that domain from our outreach list and confirm in writing that the suppression has been done.
We’ll update the public review response (on Trustpilot or whichever platform) to note the suppression and invite you to update your review accordingly.
If you prefer to opt out of all outreach, just state that and we will suppress all future outreach to your company domain(s).
We appreciate your cooperation. Our goal is to ensure you do not receive further outreach from us if you prefer not to, and to maintain accurate public feedback and review records.
Thank you for your time and we look forward to your reply.
Warm regards,
Travis Piepho

I have seen many a junk email coming…
I have seen many a junk email coming from address space allocated to Prospectr marketing.
All of them have the same traits: false "Unsubscribe" link (since we NEVER subscribed to any junk like that) and/or attempt to imitate email thread (such as "Re:" in subject lines). Naturally, we blacklist all companies trying to promote like that.
Simplest solution was to ban entire IP space of Prospectr Marketing (used to send mail).
Please also pay attention to bunch of 5-star reviews for this subject here on TrustPilot, all written by accounts having single review, all written within a few days. The sure trait of bot-generated (i.e., fake) reviews.
The Prospectr state I am lying about quality of email. In fact, I am not.
NONE of emails campaign in question has legitimately had our consent: there was NO double opt-in in place. Instead, the spam message has deceitful "Unsubscribe" link, and it lacks explicit CAN-SPAM clause in it.
I can easily provide a sample of such email as proof.
Also, please investigate the five-stars reveiws I told about. Thanks.

Konstantine, this is a false and misleading review of our 18 y/o company. Simply request to opt out. All email marketing and other digital marketing activities we do follow the letter of the law in the US

Hired Prospectr to market for my…
Hired Prospectr to market for my roofing company with specific parameters for commercial clients. After 3 mnths , we didn't even receive one legit client under those parameters. Waste of money and time.
Response from Prospectr MarketingJul 9, 2019
Harry,
We generated business for you from commercial clients that wanted a roofing project completed for their location. We have said list of respondents and their subsequent request for you to contact them with a bid for their roofing needs, we will gladly prove it.
You are obviously not pleased with our service and we are sorry that you did not see value working with us.
Here are the details of our work together: we only required one payment to start our work and generated enough response for three contractual payments before you came here, online, to post this review. When I asked why, you stated it was your effort to seek a refund for the initial payment. It became apparent to us that though we continued at no cost to you for three additional months, we even sent you a computer to facilitate our work, on our dime, that you simply did not follow up with the respondents that asked for a bid on their property. Sales require follow up. We generate initial interest and we did so. You did not follow up...
Here is a testimonial from another roofing company like yours, but in Boston: “Prospectr leads are qualified and during the first few months of our campaign we have potential revenue to the tune of $400,000+, I am pleased with their service as it outperformed my original expectations.”
—Tara Saxton, Owner, KTM Properties
I hope that you consider this and remove this review and call me directly so that we can generate more leads for you. With timely sales follow up, even simple follow up on the leads, I believe you will close enough business to justify our work together.
Thanks,
