I have had Propertyshark for a good number of years and for the most part I am satisfied with the information on properties. It is excellent for 1 to multiple family properties in the 5 Boros of New York City but as far as information on cooperatives and condominiums are concerned , there is a lot lacking. It is very difficult to find comparables a times. There is also a lot of information for properties in Westchester County and Rockland County that are just not available. As an appraiser and Broker, I feel that Propertyshark should have the information I need and I should not have to use Zillow or any other site. Over the years with you I have often mentioned this problem and was told that you are trying to make it better and it is better but not really enough. Thank you

The website is good with the information it provides but has glitches that become frustrating. I usually use it for Suffolk county NY, and I cannot filter the results by zip code even though the option is there (it yields no results). The auction results option is not there for Suffolk county, so I cant see the results from previous auctions but it's there for neighboring counties. In addition, the pop up for the daily emails becomes too much because the option comes up every time, and if you hit accept multiple times you get a million emails throughout the day until you clear it out. Lastly, sometimes when you go to the next page of results it keeps loading and nothing pops up.

Excellent info on NYC 5 boroughs. Convenient links to relevant docs. Outside NYC much weaker, less info.

They steal your information and falsely represent your property Briana... I hear you . They wanted my social security number and salary to remove my property listing . They are stealing information

We notified property shark that they had the incorrect taxes listed on our home which we were trying to sell. They were listed at over 6900 when in reality it should have been 5451. They sent me an email back that basically said, "Too bad" and wouldn't change it. If they truly don't care about the validity of the number, they could have taken my word for it and if they cared to verify, they could have checked with the town. They did neither. Zillow had the common courtesy of fixing it for us. I don't consider this company as reputable.

Plenty of valuable information about real estate properties, especially in NYC. Amazing features allowing you to view map location based on "Known or Potential Toxic Sites, proximity to subway, bike facilities..." near any property you're interested in.
