I'm having the same issue as many below. I ordered a toy for my grandson for Christmas and it has not arrived. When I checked the tracking site it said that it had been shipped from China. Very unprofessional looking site. I left a message on the tracking site and have heard nothing. Obviously this was a scam, & it troubles me that I had no inkling when I ordered it.

To begin, if I had known the products were coming from China, I never would've ordered simply because I know that shipping can be delayed. Their website did not say where the items were coming from and gave a timeframe well before Christmas for delivery. That didn't happen. So I let Project Montessori know that I did not receive the shipment before Christmas as stated on their website. They said the package was lost and gave me a full refund, which is great. Wish it ended there. Just got the shipment today and the products were absolutely horrible. There was a book made completely out of felt that is supposed to be for small children, but came with lots of small, removable parts. Including plastic, googly eye stickers. I also bought a set of magnetic blocks that had several damaged plastic pieces in the box (website said these were wooden magnetic blocks, why is there plastic damaged pieces in there?). Both items were worse quality than even the cheapest dollar store. I paid well over $60 for these two items. Honestly, appalled.

The product arrived in boxes covered in Chinese writing with English words that made no sense. It was tiny, not as pictured. It was cheap plastic junk. No way I’d give it to my grandkids. Not genuine Montessori for sure! I received an email 14/11/2024 asking for details or my review might be considered ’not genuine’. Seriously! Appalling company. Avoid them.

I November I ordered what I thought was a quality item for my grand daughter on the projectmontessori website. It looked cute on the site and given the Montessori name - expected the quality to back it up. WRONG - the item was cheaply made and NOTHING I would even consider giving as a gift. I filed a complaint with the BBB - it was sent under the name "Jane" from Cedar Grove, NJ - a distribution center for the crap they make in China. Saw the same junk at Walmart for less than 1/3 of the price I paid for the Montessori name. SCAM!!! Awaiting a response via the BBB - requested a refund ... let's see what happens.

I ordered the ABC wooden blocks. They did arrive in a timely fashion, but the quality is very poor. While the picture on the website shows blocks that have carved and painted letters, all of the images were applied transfers (decals). About 25% of the blocks had chips in the transfers - right out of the box. No way they would stand up to normal toddler use. I also don't want my child consuming tiny pieces of whatever the transfers are made of. I would not want that under any circumstances, but definitely not with a Chinese product as they have a history of using toxic products in toys. As I will not be using them it really doesn't matter, but the storage bag was not included. It is of note that all of the reviews (all 4 and 5 star) are from 2021 and many talk about the carved and painted images. That is definitely not what is currently being sold. The review I wrote was not posted on the Project Montessori site.

Updated to reflect Montessori reply. YES A REFUND WAS ARRANGED BUT NONE IF THIS DETRACTS FROM BEING MISLED ON THE PRODUCT AND WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM. I FIND IT VERY STRANGE THAT AS WE APPROACH CHRISTMAS THEY ASK ME TO REVISIT MY REVIEW, AS I POINTED OUT MY THOUGHTS ON THE COMPANY AND THE PRODUCT THEY WERE GOUNG TO PROVIDE WERENT FULLY TRANSPARENT. ON REFLECTION HAD I LOOKED AT TRUST PILOT BEFORE PLACING THE ORDER I WOULD NEVER HAVE PLACED IT. I AM NOT ALONE IN HAVING ISSUES WITH THIS COMPANY PEOPLE WILL HAVE TO MAKE THEIR OWN MIND UP Do not use this company, no reference to the fact that the goods are coming from China - In my case goods haven't left China and I am told I will be refunded, at time of writing this has not yet happened - one disappointed grandaughter as Santa doesn't have her den making kit!!

I am posting for my sister Lucie Prudhomme. She ordered a Christmas gift for her godson and the company has ghosted her. Gifts will not arrive, no money being refunded. Also, worst company ever - states they are US but shipping from China . Do not purchase from Project Montessori

Don’t use this site - it’s a scam. Wish I’d read reviews before I ordered. Turns out to be US company shipping from China - or is it? Ordered drawing board on 30/11/23. Shipping details received1/12/23. In transit 7/12/ 23. Returned to shipper 20/12/23. Now seem to have another tracking number 21/12/23 - order processed by shipper. Customer service automated message. Useless 😡 Update 6/1/23 Chased them for news and offered and received refund as the item was lost enroute. Magnetic drawing board then arrived this week and told to keep it or give it away (no way!). It’s poor quality with splinters in the wood box and frame, and much smaller than it looks in photo- 23x30x3cms. Instruction book and box graphics in Chinese only, including a red warning on the box. Most concern is the lack of any CE mark meaning it’s illegal to sell it in the UK. This has been reported to Trading Standards.
